What have you all been playing!

I have been playing a ton of Aeterna Noctis in an attempt to start clearing up my backlog. It’s really good so far! Tough platforming but I enjoy that a lot.

    I’m about to jump into Elite: Dangerous for the first time and fully expect to be ditching it because of the learning curve and my lack of interest in games without a narrative and sandbox games in general.

    But I just need something to keep me occupied and it might be able to do that.

    I know it’s a very different game from Elite: Dangerous, but No Man’s Sky somehow kept me occupied for well over 100 hours, despite me hating crafting/building games. I have no idea how I loved it so much.

    Point is, ED could potentially also tap into something and keep me interested despite me not liking sandboxes. Maybe it will, maybe it won’t. Can’t know until I try (at least I got for free).

    Wondering if my frustrating time with Starfield will influence how much I’m willing to get into this, though, or if I’m going to end up wishing X feature from ED was in Starfield. (God, I so badly want to like Starfield. So much. Every time I try, I just… can’t.)
