If I were on the DNC, I would not choose Biden for reelection however I understand not wanting to change horses mid race.

If we had an open primary with debates, we’d have known months ago

The moderate wing doesn’t just want people to hold their noses, they want 100% loyalty and 0 criticisms.
Because they know that moderate candidates fall under the tiniest bit of scrutiny of their policies. But they’d still rather risk trump than run a candidate Dem voters actually want to vote for.
They aren’t on the people’s side, they’re on their own side.
