Need advice: how to properly post on Reddit?

Hi everyone,

I’ve been struggling to publish anything on Reddit. Every time I try to make a post, it either gets blocked, removed, or I get an error saying my account is restricted. I even tried creating a new account, but the same thing happens. Sometimes it also shows a message about “bad connection to the server,” even though my internet works fine.

So I wanted to ask:

What’s the proper way to post on Reddit without getting flagged or blocked?
Are there specific steps or tips to make sure a post gets approved by moderators?
Could this be an account issue on my side, or just Reddit being buggy?

I’d really appreciate any advice or experiences you can share.

Firstly, seriously consider not posting on reddit at all. Why would you give even the tiniest bit of your time to a platform that actively fucks both creators and users over in the worst ways.
Many subs require a matured account to post.
If your post is against the rules, it will usually get removed without comment.
Or maybe you did weird things with your account and got shadowbanned. Or maybe even your IP got banned.
All in all, you're better off asking on Reddit, on subs likes RedditHelp (iirc). If it doesn't work there either your problem is most likely 3.

  I already submitted a support request. The problem I had was an error saying there’s a connection issue with the server, and similar messages. I even tried deleting my account and creating a new one, but it still doesn’t work.
  The thing is, on Reddit you can get a lot of advice in a very short time. I would post everything here, but unfortunately there are not many people, so I’m still trying to post there. This morning I actually found a community dedicated to my country, and that felt really nice, because there were so many interesting posts.

  Sounds like you're on a blocklist, unless you really do have connection issues across the whole internet. Would be nice to read the full message.

  That probably made things worse. They have ways to know that you're the same person, way beyond just your IP.

These 2 groups - r/NoStupidQuestions and r/AskReddit allow new accounts to post "comments". New accounts with very low karma totals. If you try to post a comment (NOT A POST) there and you do not see it then you are shadow banned.

What kind of content are you trying to post?
Especially if you're posting what is judged as "violent" content, even casually talking about non-political violence from third-hand, and Reddit will ban such accounts.

They use a combination of things to perma-ban people. They can do an IP ban, meaning any account you log into from your IP will get banned. They will use meta-data to ban people, so if you log into an account at reddit and are also logged into say, a google account that is associated with a banned reddit account, they will ban your reddit account because they can see it's being used by a banned user by looking at your cookies and browser history. Now I don't know how much access they have to meta-data or exactly how it works, but you leave fingerprints everywhere you go on the net and a lot of what you do is shared with third parties. So they are able to tell who you are if you're logged into something else on another tab.
They also use AI to scan messages and detect similarities in how users post. So even if you do everything right and create a new account at reddit from a new IP, and use a clean browser with no cookies or meta-data from other sites, but you still join all the same subs and post the same way you did before, they will still be able to tell it's you. "Oh it's that guy who is part of the same 5 subreddits and posts about the same things that we banned ten times before"
It's a rotten website and they don't want free speech they want a crowd of lemmings posting echoes in their echo chamber. My advice is to leave it.
