What Newsom is doing is not new. Trying to act more like a Republican is the go-to Democrat strategy since the 70s.
It would be funny if I didn't know Newsom was copying Trump's policy ideals before he took on the persona.

  They're skateboards and halfpipes. Newsom ramps off Trump for some sick air and we go nuts. Then Trump ramps off Newsom and does a 900 causing the crowd to burst into applause. At the end the respective judges for both sides holds up their scorecards.
  They look like they enjoy the sport and the cheers from the crowd. I expect them to shake hands and say "good game" afterwards. I'm not interested in their sport I just want to see them break their legs.

  If this guy “completely aligns” with the republicans on whether my friends are actual people that deserve to be treated as actual people, than to them, and by extension to me, he is not the enemy of my enemy. He’s my enemy period.
  So yeah. Fuck this guy.
