Remembering Regis Philbin’s ‘Bonkos’ time on ‘Seinfeld’

I agree the bonkos thing was stupid. Now that I read his take, maybe he was right to be a little pissed, they gave him a dud and laughed it off, probably as a inside joke. Maybe someone just didn't like him and his humor and made him the joke.

That line has stood out to me ever since first hearing it. Regis was right, it’s not a word anyone uses and also not funny.

I thought he said bonkers, also thought it was a sort of self-parody...
