I don’t think their vote even decided the race since Kamala lost PA and GA too. We shouldn’t blame them either, blame the DNC for running Biden a second term until the final hour.

Isn’t it normally code to have a fence around a pool? So even if he had a medical episode while riding a lawnmower, surely a fence would have stopped the mower.
I have to imagine that he refused to have a fence around his pool because big government can’t tell him what to do, so perhaps this death is from hubris.
“We need to use the military on the enemy within if necessary”
“Adam Schiff and Nancy Pelosi are examples of enemies from within”
Seems pretty clear.
He wants to use the military against “left leaning lunatics”. Well if he refers to everyone on the left as a lunatic, then that’s everyone who disagrees with him. He sometimes defines the “lunatics” as the communist and Marxist in the party. But we already had McCarthyism once, what about second McCarthyism? Is anyone who votes left just a secret communist in disguise?
Elden ring was my first souls game and I kept away from fan sites and youtube videos as much as possible until I beat the final boss. Didn’t want to tempt finding a meta build.
If I needed help, I asked friends. It was a great experience!
I can see this random tweet from Taylor Swift just fine in incognito mode. I can’t look at replies but I can see her posts.

People on Lemmy link to tweets all the time and I can navigate and read them. Not sure what you mean then that it’s authwalled. It’s an annoying experience and it bugs me every time I visit to make an account or log in, but I can see them.
So let’s say on Twitter, someone blocks me and I can’t read their post. Can’t I just log out and read their post that way? I don’t have a Twitter account, so I’ve never seen a blocked link before.
Very disruptive. Landfills typically bury the day’s trash at the end of the day and it’s just layers and layers of garbage, like lasagna. You might be able to work on Monday’s trash slice, but by the time Thursday rolls around, it’s time to add a layer on top of Monday.
Digging could interrupt the entire landfill process if it’s still an active landfill, meaning the daily garbage has to be redirected elsewhere, because landfills aren’t just a hole in the ground, they are a feat of engineering.
Oh, It looked like you were receiving the message. Reddit mail formatting is terrible.
You’re reddit account isn’t even 7 days old? Seems like standard practice to filter new accounts out. It’s not like you were singled out. Your self post on a brand new account to help reduce spam, is infact spam.
The most frustrating one is that 4 of a kind does not trigger two pair
Alaska, a red state, is reportedly trying to remove their rank choice voting. This isn’t a “Dems” problem, it’s a two party problem.
Even if state and local elections are ranked choice, the presidential election will still be a first past the post election and the electoral college is still designed for a two party system.
I think he spent like 10 minutes talking about childhood obesity, blames the problem on the Dems and wants to support Trump.
Didn’t the Trump admin basically cut the Michele Obama’s school lunch nutrition standards because “kids don’t like the lower sodium options, so we’re bringing it back because at least they’ll eat the processed foods”?
He’s just postering to try and get a seat somewhere.
Amazon does probably do this, but burning down a retail store wouldn’t hurt their competition.
Tinfoil hat time, the equity firm that bought toys r us, bain capital, somehow got people to agree that they could use the equity of toys r us as collateral, then heavily leveraged themselves to buy out a bunch of companies that competed with toys r us and therefore Amazon, and after buying out all these companies, collapsed in on themselves dragging all of them down with it.
Amazon already handled a lot of toys r us’s logistics at the time, so it was a nice boon for them to already have the infrastructure in place to support that market when suddenly toys r us starts making highly risky leveraging decisions.
Careful, the same picture of shooters who identify as heterosexual would completely overshadow this picture.
Agreed, but that won’t change until first past the post is changed and honestly, third party candidates should stop moonshotting for president. Build up the third party in local elections first.
The government wants more data. It feels like it’s a common unspoken rule that tipped employees don’t claim cash tips.
So it seems like “hey, since you lie to us to keep your cash tips and it’s optically bad and a waste of IRS resources to even pursue you, just tell us how much you actually made for data collection reasons and we’ll ignore it”
Instead of spending all that money on resources to deport people, why not spend that same money on speeding up the immigration process?
People listen to other people’s opinions. You don’t care about joe rogans opinion, so his endorsement means nothing. Other people do listen to him and will take his endorsement into consideration. “I agree with what Rogan says alot, he’s probably more well informed than me, so if he says someone is worth the vote, well then I don’t have to think about it myself and can trust him”
It’s newsworthy when a public figure throws their endorsement around, you just don’t care about the news
The significance is that he doesn’t control how his pension is funded. It’s not like he has a vested interest in one company succeeding by having a bunch of stock there, and he’s been in politics since the aughts. It’s refreshing when compared to other congressmen
Well, just picking Kamala was probably a better choice than having a contested open primary for 3 weeks leading up to the convention. People couldn’t even vote on that primary, it would just be a vibe check the superdelegates decided on.
