There was a Limited Run Games release , and although they seem to be sold out online, I saw some physical copies in their retail store just the other day.

I went to a Viking festival and had a great time, but I wonder about how often they have to look askance at the people who are really into runes and Thor hammer symbols.
Granny Gazoot! Let’s have a toot! And when I count three!
Never believe that anti-Semites are completely unaware of the absurdity of their replies. They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words. The anti-Semites have the right to play. They even like to play with discourse for, by giving ridiculous reasons, they discredit the seriousness of their interlocutors. They delight in acting in bad faith, since they seek not to persuade by sound argument but to intimidate and disconcert. If you press them too closely, they will abruptly fall silent, loftily indicating by some phrase that the time for argument is past.

My feeling right after the Biden-Trump debate was pretty much the same as my feeling after the Harris-Trump debate: I do not understand what the American electorate wants, and I can’t predict their behavior. I was horrified by Biden’s performance, but I couldn’t say if that would matter. I was really pleased with Harris’ performance, and I’m glad that it seems to be pushing things in the right direction, but by Odin’s beard I cannot fathom how Trump could have a political career at all, let alone what it will take to really change the minds of anyone who is still undecided at this point. I’ll take what I can get, but I can’t predict the mental workings of undecided voters in Arizona, Georgia, or Wisconsin.
Hell, not even the fucking Nazis themselves claimed that they weren’t deliberately operating death camps. Here’s Rudolf Höss, commandant of Auschwitz:
Technically [it] wasn’t so hard—it would not have been hard to exterminate even greater numbers… The killing itself took the least time. You could dispose of 2,000 head in half an hour, but it was the burning that took all the time. The killing was easy; you didn’t even need guards to drive them into the chambers; they just went in expecting to take showers and, instead of water, we turned on poison gas. The whole thing went very quickly.
And here he is, after his trial, four days before his execution:
My conscience compels me to make the following declaration. In the solitude of my prison cell, I have come to the bitter recognition that I have sinned gravely against humanity. As Commandant of Auschwitz, I was responsible for carrying out part of the cruel plans of the ‘Third Reich’ for human destruction. In so doing I have inflicted terrible wounds on humanity. I caused unspeakable suffering for the Polish people in particular. I am to pay for this with my life. May the Lord God forgive one day what I have done. I ask the Polish people for forgiveness. In Polish prisons I experienced for the first time what human kindness is. Despite all that has happened I have experienced humane treatment which I could never have expected, and which has deeply shamed me. May the facts which are now coming out about the horrible crimes against humanity make the repetition of such cruel acts impossible for all time.
Doesn’t really sound like the statement of a guy who was trying to claim it didn’t fucking happen, or that it was anything but a deliberate crime against humanity.
“Test Post, Please Ignore,” and that guy who took increasingly elaborate pictures of himself taking the previous picture of his camera were high points for me.
Yeah, there’s the effect Cheney and his gang all having American supremacy as their goal, with them and their corporate fuck-buddies specifically on top of the heap. In their own particularly fucked kind of way, they did care about America or something.
Trump and his ilk… They believe in fucking NOTHING. I’m not even convinced their goal, at its core, is even self-enrichment. I’m pretty well convinced the whole movement is just extremely self-destructive mental illness metastasisized into a political party.
Blame it on the bossa nova!
Trump abandoning NATO, Russia going on the war path, and full-blown nuclear World War 3 would probably be bad for business.
In any sane society, closing a private prison would be cause for celebration.
I’m curious: what would that mean, within Brazil’s borders? Would they be able to prevent Starlink from being used? Broadcast a Starlink jamming signal over the whole country? Or turn it into a diplomatic issue, with the US State Department getting involved?

That is one of the stupidest takes I have ever seen, and I’ve been on the internet since AOL chatrooms.
Not voting makes politicians less accountable to you. If you somehow organized everyone who thought like you do, regardless of your agenda, and convinced every single one of them to not vote, then you would achieve the lofty political goal of… absolutely ensuring that no politician would ever try to pursue your goals.
Voting, by definition, is what makes politicians give a shit about your cause. There’s a reason why the Greek word meaning “one who does not take part in public affairs” is the root of the modern word “idiot.”
