I’m listening to the audiobook and it is an insane listen/read.
I’m not sure how it would really work as a series because it’s kind of all over the place.
Don’t get me wrong. It’s a very good book, but it spends chapters on subjects that are pretty remote to the activities that Bragg. A would be hard to illustrate in a drama.
On the other hand it has corruption at the highest and lowest levels of the us special forces, no state police and so much Mexican cartel activities.
It isn’t underrated by any stretch of the imagination. It is an utter bore of a movie that just isn’t worth watching.
Yes how Kubrick captured the natural lighting makes for a neato liner note, but the end result really isn’t that remarkable nor does it make it worth sitting through the movie.
In the ten year stretch between A Clockwork Orange and The Shining you get Barry Lindon.
