  • I guess it's on nightly ? I am on beta and it's really annoying !

  • It's because you're on the old menu, look at mine before fix. It's at bottom but back, forward, ... are on top and it's not convenient. Really happy they fixed it!

  • Yep exactly my thoughts : "ho part 2 comes as if part 1 is supposed to be watched one episode per week". Really feel with their new tendency to release only part they are starting to understand that releasing a new show / season all at once makes for a poorer experience. (And maybe it avoids people subscribing for one month only when there is a new release)

Too bad they don't go all the way and truely release weekly. It won't feel like season has been chopped and that you need to wait to watch the end.
Sure it is nice to binged watch it but it's more appropriate for shows already aired. For new show / season, IMO, it makes it more difficult to speak about episodes with others and to imagine what it's going to happen next. Prime, Apple, Disney, ... understand it.

  • Didn't try it but FYI maybe PhotoGIMP could make GIMP usable for you!

  • For additional info about not releasing anymore on play store from Catfriend1 :

I am no longer publishing this on Google Play

See detailed info about release variants and which is recommended to fit your needs.

"nel0x" has announced to continue publishing on the play store. I welcome his help and the work I think he'll put into his mission. It's up to you, reading this, to decide if to trust and/or support him or go with the F-Droid release channel of this app instead. You don't know me and I don't know him... we are all volunteers in the spirit of open source.

  • Yep it'd ridiculous they feign to not understand that people can't subscribe to all services. Especially when their prices keep increasing. Netflix at beginning almost eradicated piracy for most people. It proves that problem is not people unwilling to pay...
If really they want to offer a better services then all services should unite, you would pay your monthly subscription and based on what you watched each services would get a cut.

  • Agree for Excel. An alternative can be to use winapps which allow to run excel via docker (or podman) and open windows app same as if there were natively installed.

  • Is it with extensions or without?
Sometimes sites are not happy when blocking ad for instance and don't load or behave correctly.

  • SpeedCrunch for the win ! 😉
But seriously, compared to qalculate I prefer SpeedCrunch UI.

  • Fully agree but :

    • how long does it take to look it up online. It surely takes longer to have an answer back
    • you could even ask any AI if looking it up seems too difficult
    • how can you not tell yourself it's no longer downloading, I am at 100%, I already waited a few minutes then probably it's doing something else must be safe to stop it and look if my file is OK
  • IMHO as long as linux don't have a full UI for main settings it will be difficult for it to impose himself.
I know a lot of people will say that now you don't need the terminal but actually you do!
I am using Fedora with KDE and for instance it offers no GUI to easily create and manage user groups. You want to look at your service, stop them, start them, schedule a task... It's all with terminal ! And I am sure there is plenty of other examples.

Don't take me wrong, I am still a Linux user! But I would appreciate not having to look/check online to change some basic things once in a while! 😉
