Welp, time to expedite that switch to RustDesk, I guess!
100 gross of self sealing stem bolts!
Hello again Mr. Stamets! ❤️
To be fair, he is obligated to toe the line and regurgitate his talking points, otherwise the IDF might make him go to the front.
This is from Insurrection, right?
I’m in awe of how confident you are.
Everyone is a friend until they’re not.
I am not blindly pro-anyone. I want everyone to be able to live in peace. I would give my life to save my Jewish (or Muslim) neighbours.
What I cannot abide is a massive online propaganda campaign orchestrated by a certain country’s military to try and sway world opinion in favour of a genocide they’re itching to commit in the name of self-defence. Now I’m not saying you’re definitely part of that, but all of the hallmarks are there.
Israelis deserve to live in peace, as do the Palestinians.
Friend, based on your comment history this just feels like a bait post so you can vigorously defend Israel some more.
Haha this happened to me almost verbatim except it was an LG phone.
Big “we already got their money, fuck 'em” energy. Made me decide to aggressively avoid all LG products going forward.
Best part was there was a bug in the version of their Android I was stuck with that would cause the phone to randomly shut off if charging overnight. I think I eventually installed a custom ROM which fixed it.
Hah. From your perspective sure, I’ll give you that. I don’t think subjective or objective “quality” is the sole criteria when comparing cinema, especially in this context where the article is talking about comic book movies versus the rest of cinema, but I am running on 4 hours of sleep so I wasn’t as clear I could have been, sorry. In this context, from my perspective, they are inherently comparable since they are in the same genre. I think we may also have slightly different applications of “comparable” here — maybe a regional language thing?
For the record I think the couple of Marvel movies I’ve seen have been vapid wastes of time that could have possibly been written engineered by LLMs for maximum returns on investment. So I think we’re of a similar opinion and probably on the same side here. I still think mentioning Nolan in this context is hilariously hypocritical given he made some of the biggest comic book movies ever. I get the intent behind evoking Nolan’s quality filmmaking, still funny to me regardless.
That said… Your messages come across as quite antagonistic. Why is that? I mean this quite sincerely: are you doing okay? It takes so much energy to be sour all of the time — I know from experience. Feel free to message me on here if you want to shoot the shit.
-Mr Giggity
They are literally comparable as they are both in the same genre this article is about. You realise Batman is a comic book character, and that the article is about comic book movies, yeah? I said nothing about the quality between the two.
It’s kind of amusing that he mentioned Christopher Nolan as a possible ally in his grassroots campaign of filmmakers extolling the virtues of cinema. Christopher Nolan who made a massive comic book movie trilogy. That Christopher Nolan?
Damn, the replacement voice actors are pretty good. I would’ve assumed that was Justin.
I’m not sure what that has to do with anything? I didn’t mention the emerald mine.
You get it put in and suddenly you think Musk is a sexy genius, apartheid wasn’t that bad, and that Tesla cars definitely aren’t trying to kill you.
Nah, they’re too busy running phone scams on senior citizens.
Edit: in retrospect this might come across as racist — I meant that the same people being paid to spread Indian nationalism online also probably have no problem running phone scams against other countries, and phone scam centres are de facto sanctioned by some local governments over there.
As always, if a headline is in the form of a question, the answer is: No.
As it was a few years ago, the only “cure” is bone marrow transplants from somebody with the gene variant that is resistant to HIV. And bone marrow transplants, since in their application need to wipe out your existing immune system, are riskier than just continuing to be on ART.
The other potential cures in the article have only been tested on monkeys and mice, and even if they end up working on humans that’s many, many years away.
The article is kind of a waste of time if you already know about the bone marrow application, as expected. Actually, that’s kind of harsh, it’s mostly positive, which we need more of, but from a science news perspective there’s not much there.
That’s actually pretty neat!
The hypocrisy!
