I went to the movies to see it when it first came to the theater. I didn’t know anything about it except that it was a new Tom Hanks movie with good reviews (this was pre internet days). We lived in rural Georgia, and drove over to Savannah to have dinner and see it. When he said, “and that’s what I’m doing here in Savannah, Georgia,” my wife and I looked at one another with a freaked out look! He’s here too?!?
That’s the problem my guy, we don’t need to be educated. Everyone - including you apparently - gets the meaning, you’re the only one who feels the need to critique the design. Which is absolutely your right, but don’t look down your nose at me like I’m an uneducated buffoon because I don’t agree with your assessments.
Dude, it’s just a graphic I got from somewhere else, and I throw it on posts where it seems to apply.
I get what bothers you, but I think you’re caring wayyyy too much about a little comment graphic to type all that out! I’ve posted it a bunch of times, and everyone seems to understand the meaning just fine in spite of the odd capitalization.
Actually, I didn’t create it or use AI, I just stole it off someone else’s post.
I’ve been using it for weeks, and everyone else seems to understand the meaning just fine. I know upvotes don’t mean anything, but whenever I post it, it gets more upvotes than any of my typed comments.
overcoming denial isn't something anyone can do for someone else--each person has to make that decision on their own. and it's even harder when everyone around you is in the same state of denial.
You can’t reason someone out of a position that they didn’t reason themselves into.
