Codec support is a bit of a bummer. Otherwise I would have bought them.
Amazing how versioning can give an air of legitimacy through the illusion of progress.
Hangs down, the best email client for IMAP.
Yup. Was going to write the same.
Just chain-watching horror films. Same as every year.
I think they have a place, but personally speaking, I feel they stifle tinkering. So they’re a “no” for me.
100% agree. Plus the random cryptocurrency thing.
Can the hackers change the region on my account for me? Sony won’t let me change it.
I ended up choosing Plasma Mobile. Keep meaning to try Phosh. I was initially more drawn to Plasma Mobile as I use KDE on my laptop & desktop.
Yup. I’m not either.
A lot of the newer AMD models have excellent battery life thanks to the combined efforts of Vavle & AMD on the Steam Deck.
My unbiased opinion is that for what it sets out to achieve (no hastle Arch Linux setup) there are better options. EndeavourOS is worth looking at. I’ll leave it to others to list the drawbacks of Manjaro’s package triaging approach. I’m still having my morning coffee in bed, so I’m typing this with one hand.
I still takes notes at work meetings. Mostly so that I dont forget what was agreed or what I’m supposed to be doing.
Outside or work, I make tons of lists. I find them really helpful to know what needs doing and what needs prioritising.
Notewise, I use an old fashioned notepad + desktop stickies. For my life lists I use Simple note.
There could be other causes of double vision. I only really noticed the double vision in the evenings/nights when staring at things that were a reasonable distance away. The image would start off as one, but then dissociate as I kept looking at it.
Denial of my disability. Also, I mostly require prism correction, so at the right distance I get 8K from a 4K set.
Also, prism correction is kind of weird. Your brain deals with it (unless a lot of correction is required) until you get tired. For me, it’s mostly noticeable late evening (image starts to separate into two) or if I’m staring at my computer monitor for a long time (eye/headache).
TBH, it’s not that great for lips. Try Carmex.
I’m only about 160h in, but I’m not sure I can bring myself to do another playthrough. I still have Sekiro to do. I’ve barely started that. Will probably call it a day for ER once I’ve slain Melina.
Elden Ring. Always Elden Ring. It’s massive. Don’t know when I’ll finish everything I want to.
The bezels were already pretty large on the LCD deck.
