It’s the same argument they used when ditching SMS-support ☹️

Firefox with Ghostery add-on, mostly because its built-in cookie-nag blocker. Also use Bitwarden and Dark Reader. Pretty much the same setup on both desktop and mobile.
Maybe VAIO?
Maybe you’re thinking of WEGA? Modelname used in the CRT-days.
Locales are basically impossible to permanently remove. It always keeps popping back after disabling it and the option to hide it is always buried deeper and deeper with every Windows update. I have Windows set to another language than my kb and never swap kb-layout. Doesn’t mean i want to waste taskbar space with the locale-icon 🤬
The downside would be getting less content and perhaps worse content, as the platforms would not spend the exorbitant levels on content anymore.
What happended with forcing interoperability with different services like WhatsApp and Messenger? Would be great if we could just have one app for all messages like on Windows Phone back in the day 🙏
I’m on Pixel 6a so not ancient… Seems like it will release in another update before year end so here’s hoping 🙏
Thx, I’ll just wait it out then. At least it’s not scrapped.
Thx, then I’ll just have to wait a bit longer.
What happened to the webcam-over-USB feature that was promised? Just updated to 14 and went into charge-settings but no webcam option. Tried two USB-cables and both mac and Windows but no go. Was this confirmed to be scrapped? Was my most hyped feature 😭
Disappoint that the external display isn’t a Always-on display. That’s the whole point of the external display, otherwise might as well open the full thing than fiddle with a mini screen 😑
Dongle-life!!
Same here ☹️
Thx, had totally missed you can install webapps via Firefox Android. Firefox seems to crash everytime I open the webapp though lol. Happy with Connect in the meantime.
How does one activate that? 🧐
Isn’t it really expensive converting officespace to residential though? Given the layout of plumbing, elevators etc. Would assume that alot of the time it would just be cheaper to tear it down ☹️
How do they define “removable”? Most batteries can be removed with enough effort. Good initiative though.
Is it recommended to create an account specifically for Mastodon or just use your Lemmy-account? Will it fuck up my feeds/subs in some way if I only use one account for both? (I’m new to the whole fediverse thing)
When will we see fanless models? That is one of the defining features of the M1 Air.
