Or the darn tiny speedy monkeys
Definitely interested. Hello Games may have stumbled on the NMS launch, but they’ve more than proven themselves since then!
And then they cheer on your cool tech features, engien choices, and techniques, that really the average consumer doesn’t actually care about.
Yawn - would be interesting to see alternate reality Yahtzee review it when it comes out. I can already hear him complaining about “yet another indie life simulator” or some such.
Lol is this like satire? Who measures things by “the GDP of Maryland” xD
Oh yeah, let’s help them out!
Vintage Story, on a good server, lots of fun! Haven’t really been playing anything else lately.
So Russian need a special militiary operation to de-nazify themselves now?
Just cancelled my XBox Ultimate Game Pass…bunch of nonsense.
Literally just a rant on Zero Punctuation about “AC” games - Assassin’s Creed, Animal Crossing, Armored Core, I forget the list. (Also Asheron’s Call I guess)
Got in 160 hours or so, enjoyed it and have no regrets buying it. I’ll probably play a little bit again in the future, but not so much. So it was a fine game, but not their best outing for sure.
I’m content with my ~120 hours played so far even if I don’t play again. But I probably will, especially with mods or future content. It doesn’t quite have the build flexibility of an elder scrolls game though. Hopefully they’ll add more variants to the bases etc. Generally happy if a game has 40 hours of gameplay and there’s easily 40 hours of content in Starfield.
The NG+ stuff is interesting but after playing it a bunch it’s both a plus and a minus, like it’s neat to have the options there, but also might’ve been better to start actual new characters.
Think I will wait for the new Grim Dawn DLC and Titan Quest 2 instead thanks
There are probably multiple indie game bubbles, like roguelike card game bubbles or Metroidvania 2d retro 16 bit graphics game bubbles.
The annoying one is Frostbite, especially on some story missions where you keep getting it while the characters blab on and on. Other than that i’ve either run thru a steam vent, broken my lags boosting wrong, or sometimes sandstorm lung damage.
Also read about the spacesuit thing just today. The planet thing at least would’ve made more sense to all the spacesuit bits. It’s pointless and a bit confusing now, I just ignore it and repair whatever damage I receive which the spacesuit article made it sound like that is intended. The little hazard UI thing is so bad, and why doesn’t the aid section use the same icons as the status section. Hate having to dig around to find the right treatment in my inventory (slowly just grabbing snake oil whenever i find it)
Ah well still enjoying it at around 100 hours played, but you can see where they’ve had to cut back on systems all over the place.
They almost got me with preorder last night, but I was like nah I’ll just wait and see in the morning. I love how i’ve been reading for weeks that “it’s good they made fast travel hard”, like preparing us for a fast travel MTX. Or it’s the greatest character creator of all time, but to edit after you have to spend more money - the game is basically $100 canadian. Absurd.
