Both of those functions have been available via key fob for at least a decade, no internet required. Though yes the range on that can be limited.
Then subsidize the farmers by the amount you were paying them to not harvest the food ? They don’t make any money when they aren’t selling it at all either, without this intervention…
Invade, really?
“Apex predator that rarely approaches humans spends time in its natural habitat which it occupied for millions of years prior to the existence of humans”
The liberal party in Canada campaigned on election reform and then when they got elected said ah actually nah that doesn’t really benefit us sorry
Yeah I had that bug too when imbedding more than 1 image
As of the recent Lemmy update I’ve been having a bit of issues but it’s still running ok. Definitely some bugs creeping in but hopefully the devs feel less burnt out soon and can keep it working, even if they aren’t upgrading.
You weren’t an asshole
In one slice, cut a third off of each apple, and you’re left with 3 portions of 2/3 an apple each
Hi gkd,
Some random issues with Memmy have been cropping up in the last month, things like issues loading old inbox messages and replies, certain communities not showing up in the subscription list intermittently (within the same instance I am on so seemingly not a federation issue), and embedded image formatting issues causing the app to freeze. Not sure if it’s just having trouble with the latest updates to lemmy.world or what.
Hope you are well and have been able to get some rest, unfortunately I may have to switch apps for now but I am looking forward to when you have more time and energy to work on this wonderful app again!
Can you be more specific about what you feel should be changed?
They weighed in months ago back when it was announced and said they were taking a wait and see approach, where if it did cause problems they would defederate, but didn’t want to preemptively do so. Many other instances did defederate already though.
Probably the Dakota Access Pipeline protests at Standing Rock reserve?
I’m ashamed it took us this long
What was it? This list really piques my curiosity but I know it’s better not to look….
Lol I saw that yesterday on a google search and literally thought it must be some kind of custom lemmy instance that mocked the UI and URL, too funny
Oh I see, in my app your comment shows up as a top level comment not a direct reply to someone. But that explanation makes sense !
I really don’t like doing pickup for most trips because I care about the quality and ripeness of my produce and also purposefully select the furthest away expiry dates for certain things I go through slowly, it becomes a lot to ask someone else to do if there are 20 comment lines for these little details, but if I don’t it just results in wasted food and money :/
The candidates may represent something closer to diplomacy vs brutality, but the problem with the election this year appears to be a major lack of engagement by Democratic voters. So when you’re asking the question of what causes people who previously voted to not vote, apathy is pretty high on the list of possible explanations.
I am Canadian, I will sigh and vote for the leftist party that slightly reduces the flow rate of bullshit, because lesser evil blah blah. But it’s extremely easy to understand why that apathy permeates, and when parties allow that to fester by choosing not to address issues their voters clearly care deeply about, they are also to blame.
