Install a singleplayer mod that allows you to progress at your own pace and know that all of your faults were not because of cheaters (SPT), but I don't think those changes could be rectified in the PvP game.
Ah, that makes a lot more sense why people were dependent on the software, but if anything, that proves that using essential software that can have the terms changed by "new management" is a bad idea. Your crucial hosting software should FOSS with no strings attached.
You already can have that :) Ironfox (Firefox Librewolf-style android fork) is the easiest option (uBlock origin integrated), but you can also use the normal firefox browser with full extension support.
The unfortunate fact is if a user who views what you post is using a windows machine, the likelihood of the information on their screen being captured by Microsoft is overwhelmingly high.
I guess you may have to approach the issue how you would the public-facing internet at large: if you cannot verify who and how people are viewing your material, do not post any material that can be accessed by windows. If you must, post it through a trusted circle of users who also understand the issue.
