Imagine seeing this and thinking “yes, because Donald Trump and Joe Biden do the same thing, Donald Trump is worse” instead of recognizing how fucked we are if either of them wins

It’s already happening in some states
I’m sorry, but what do people who move to the Middle East expect? I wasn’t allowed to wear my Saint Christopher Medal in Kuwait, a country where being Christian is legal. Do people really think they won’t enforce these laws?
That’s what I’ve been told, so I don’t get why they’re pushing it
In all seriousness, what has having these laws repealed done? I’m asking because I don’t know.
There are, the dialogue options are also far more consequential than Fall Out 4’s
This has been 90% of my playthrough with starfield so far
It’s more like Skyrim in my experience
Okay, so how is this different from saying “I don’t care if they’re gay, as long as it’s in the privacy of their own homes”? It’s the same sentiment about what is (to some) also an immutable characteristic about their personality
I did 4 years on active duty and 6 months in Initial Entry Training (Basic and AIT). They’re going to yell at you, you’re going to be stressed, but unlike the movies and the TV shows, they aren’t there to break your spirit and make you a mindless drone. You’ll be yelled at for 2 reasons:
1)You fucked up, and if you fucked up in a firefight, people could die.
2)Someone else fucked up, and if they fucked ip in a firefight, people could die and you have to pay for it.
Either way, your Drill Sergeants aren’t there to do anything more than teach you to be a soldier. The people that come out of the military and act like they’re unfeeling assholes were that way when they went to basic, and it’s all a show I assure you.
Basic will be the most fun you’ll never want to have again, and honestly it’s a blast. Not once have I regretted joining and seeing what my life has become because of my time in.
All that being said, you can refuse to train and get chaptered out, but the fastest way out of Basic is through it. You’ve got to embrace the suck, grit your teeth, and then you’ll wake up 2 and a half months later and you’ll be wearing your dress uniform and going and getting a steak with your loved ones before heading off to AIT.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Ah yes, I can’t imagine how these could be used for evil… /s
This is a perfect example of something unethical being lawful. Should we break unethical laws?
This is just ridiculous. One guy doesn’t like Austin, so it’s a terrible place? As someone who has lived in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Arizona, and Texas, I can tell you I’ve liked Texas the best, and I much prefer Austin and Dallas to pretty much any other city I’ve been to.
“Someone has a dissenting opinion it must be ASTROTURFING AAAAAHHHHHHH”-You for some reason…
For real, God forbid we keep the actual safe, clean nuclear plants running
If anything, the US’s engagements in Vietnam and, more recently, the Middle East have shown that eradicating an insurgent force is incredibly difficult, to the point of being almost impossible. On top of that, there are weapons used during the GWOT that wouldn’t (shouldn’t(?)) Be used against American citizens, unless their goal is to be rulers of the ashes. On top of that, there are plenty of American Servicemembers that would straight up refuse to attack American citizens, and would potentially aid the insurgency with things like vehicles and ammo.
Add on top of that the extensive gun culture and sheer number of veterans in the general US population and I’d say they have a fighting chance.
I say this all as a former military intelligence analyst myself.
“Hey, program that is basically just regurgitating information, how do we do this incredibly complex things that even we don’t understand yet?”
“Here ya go.”
“Wow, this is wrong.”
“No shit.”
I’ll take a whack at it
