  • There's been two decades worth of lawsuits because PayPal has a history of withholding revenue and blocking small e-commerce stores.

I'm talking about e-commerce sites selling a board game, making $40k in sales through paypal, and PayPal refuses to give them money.

PayPal's stance has been, "Fuck you sue us."

I'm not saying this because I think Peter Thiel, who was one of the creators of Paypal, is a fucking evil villain.

  • Loss of income is really difficult to sue for. Especially if you're an indie company in another country, trying to sue an international company. You either sue locally, or open up a office in their nation.

And your case has to be rock solid.

Like tech companies still lose cases around loss of income, even when it's obvious to the average person that the major company is going out of their way to stamp out competition.

  • Leo DiCaprio buying luxury hotels in Israel energy while Gaza Holocaust is happening.

  • Working at big major companies, email/harassment campaigns work.

Some psychopath got the news journalists on my company because we didn't have a giant American flag in our campus. We were getting hundreds of emails from randos, were getting review bombed online, and they were even sending letters to the CEO.

We called it flag gate internally. And after a month, there's that stupid flag.

  • I had a few parking tickets.

First time, it was completely dismissed because the ticket wasn't accurate date/time. Officer didn't show up to challenge it.

Second time, it was completely dismissed because I did not break any laws and the photo didn't explain anything.

Third time, I had to pay a fine, which was lowered significantly because I realized my issue, admitted fault and promised to do better.

  • Very critical. Scream it from every rooftop.

If you get arrested and given a fine over a couple hundred dollars, always find a lawyer. Police will often throw in bullshit issues to get something to stick in court.

It's a shame that lawyers get made fun of, when most lawyers I know hate police and only want to right wrongs.

  • American, and same.

I only have Hulu and I struggled to find new episodes without finding them on a shady website.

I'm absolutely not getting Paramount plus. After what they did to Nathan Fielder and removing the Nazi episode, they can go die.

  • Kind of crazy because South Park wasn't super relevant for years. Yeah, South Park still gets views and attention. But after all this, South Park is back in the forefront.

  • Let them fight.

  • He's one of the good ones.

  • I don't understand why anybody watches a dude who lives in filth and go, "Ah yeah this guy has good opinions on things!"

  • Sweet! I've only played it on my Steam Deck since earlier this year.

Glad to see it's finally verified.

  • Pretty much. Their job as political instigators is to spread bullshit. Paid, grifting, or just fuckfaces, they don't care about the truth.

  • Hey, the Libertarian Party do more than that. Like smoke weed and celebrate the idea of freedom but then rage about immigrants and ignore companies fucking them over.

  • Absolutely this and I like that term "Joe Roganing".

  • I think the opportunity is better this time around.

Democrats and Republicans secured a two party system and locked everyone else out because of a few things:

    1. Finances and resources.
    2. Media coverage. During debates, they had secret handshake deals to only argue against each other, which forces media to only cover them.

Musk got resources. He spent a lot to get Orange Man in power. And TV and news is already lower on the trust scale, as the population leans towards social media.

There's a few other issues like local/state elections that won't be friendly to non-Democrat/non-republican parties.

Of course, this is all a pipe dream and like the libertarian party, it'll quickly get thrown aside and the politicians will fold into one of the two parties.

  • I'm not opposed to his.

    A party composed of billionaires.

That will help in a situation where we have to do a French revolution.

  • I'm surprised he didn't go with a stupid acronym

  • Hey we use Avatar to talk about the wrongs mankind has done to the ecosystem.

I think. Maybe? I have no idea what Avatar is really about beyond being Ferngully with tall blue people. And I watched both movies.
