Wow crazy that so many people use those social media platforms. I have never used any of them.

It’s mostly for the people processing it later on at a sorting facility. If they see a lot of boxes or it’s something expensive it’s especially important.
Might be just an urban legend, but word of mouth was someone might target houses based on what they find. Maybe even someone else’s trash that just happened to be by your address.
The samurai were also nobility and highly respected. Their lives were probably not bad until it came time to go to war. When war came I probably would be wishing I chose to go herd some cattle lol.
I was thinking that one was probably the worst one but was thinking more historically. Imagined it as living seasick on a gross packed ship of men eating the same old food. Always at risk of scurvy, being arrested or killed. The boat can sink at any time. No hygiene. Few people respect you since you are an outlaw. Then you have to risk your life killing innocent people to steal stuff.

That’s completely understandable.
In my experience when I have tested the summarizer it has done well at summarizing only what is there. It also splits it up and cites the sources.
Most people likely won’t look at the sources, and you are right that is putting a lot of trust in it, especially if they don’t understand how the tech works.
I find it good for saving time on something I just need a quick answer on to solve an immediate problem at hand.
For example the other day I asked it for the rules to Stratego. It listed it all right there and pointed out where there was any disagreement between various versions of the game. The stakes were low if something was wrong, and I saved several minutes trying to piece together and remember all the rules from various sites.

Really annoyed by Reddit. First they take away Apollo. Then I started using Teddit last week. Now that’s gone too. I am not visiting their website or downloading their app.
Is there an archived website that I can redirect Reddit links to like you could do with Teddit? Then no api is needed.

I have used Kagi for a few weeks now after hearing about it on Lemmy.
At first I wasn’t that impressed for the price. It is really growing on me the more I use it though. Where it really shines is the customizations. Once you rank up and down to your preferences the results are way better than anywhere else.
One way they rank results is based on how much tracking a website has. You can also see the number of trackers, check the archive or do an ai summary of it without even visiting the website. You find a lot of high quality nonprofit information with the commercial high tracking websites filtered out.
I also made custom redirects for sites like reddit and quora for privacy frontends.
I find myself actually using bangs now that I can customize them. You can also add other search engines so they are one click away if you want a second opinion. Lenses are great, I made some custom ones to search the top 10 websites for forums, tech support, news, etc.
When I don’t feel like sifting through a bunch of results the ai summarizes the results. When it doesn’t come up with a good summary it’s because the results don’t have the answer and you saved a bunch of time.
The free trial wasn’t enough time for me to decide if I liked it. I am glad I paid for the $10 plan. However, I seem to do about 3,000 searches a month. I was able to upgrade to unlimited at a prorated amount. $25 is a lot per month but it is saving me a lot of time and helping me to find better results so I find it worth it.
Thanks for the quality comment. It really is difficult to define since the sense of self is just a concept to begin with.
By being yourself, I would take that to mean being true to your intentions, interests, and general demeanor in the moment. All those can change with time.
Avoiding things like pretending to be interested in sports, pretending to hate comics, pretending to be a “player”, pretending to be overly macho, hiding politics, etc are all things that I have seen people do. If your interests change that’s normal but I wouldn’t recommend feigning things that are untrue for you in the moment.
I think aspiring for self improvement would still count as being true to yourself if you genuinely want to improve.
Just be yourself also is good advice. Not that it will always be successful in advancing the relationship. But it will be less stressful for you and prevent you from wasting years of your life with someone who only likes you for your fake personality.
If you have a horrible personality work on that so just being yourself doesn’t mean being an asshole. Even then though at least anyone getting into the relationship will know that ahead of time and not after the divorce.
