Same. My only gripe is that the ui doesn’t scale at all which makes it hard to use on 4K.
I gave up on memmy months ago because it was randomly crashing. The release schedule even back then was once a month at best.
I switched to the voyager “native” app (not the pwa) and it has been absolutely flawless with lots of updates.

Depends on the client you are using.
For phone or tablets try using the Voyager native app.
For browser try m.lemmy.world which is just the web version of Voyager.
There are other clients like old.lemmy.world for that “authentic” feel.
I swear every time i try to use those links from the piped bot, the content either never loads or has severe buffering problems.
Sign was super hyped during release, boasting a tie in with a game series iirc.
I was really expecting something special but holy shit did it it go absolutely no where.

The guy really exudes “don’t you know who I am?” energy. Which is a shame since it detracts from the discussion.
I expect some sods grandma (or even my own) to watch the ad on my behalf.
Yeah, not sure. More than likely an intermittent or environment specific bug.
For me, nsfw content appears in my thread despite the toggle being enabled. It also appears blurred so it’s not like Memmy doesn’t know about it or anything.
I’ve reinstalled the app as well and that doesn’t help.
I guess I could just turn it off at the account level but there are sometimes nsfw content that isn’t straight porn. Even spoilers are marked as such and I would miss those posts. Which is why an instance blocking mechanism would be great.
It doesn’t work.
It hasn’t worked since 0.1.0 released.
So much yiff stuff blocked. Being unable to block the entire instance is annoying.
Same with language specific instances I can’t understand.
I work for a company based in the uk, and I get off around thanksgiving until the start of the year. I horde my pto though.
