I'm in a similar space right now. Tired of being angry. Tired of feeling bad about things I said earlier when the people who it was said to will never feel bad about a thing in their lives. In a perfect world I would spend my days online looking at cat pictures, not despairing while these clowns dismantle women's rights, trans rights, gay rights, religious freedom, environmental protections, workers rights etc. and their idiot legion thinking it's all just wonderful.
It's a catch 22 for me because I cannot and will not keep quiet. I've spent my life fighting these fucking people and I'm not about to stop now that the fight is more important than ever. Even if it most likely won't amount to anything, considering that 50% of the world's population seems to have been replaced by pod people over the last decade.
So I dunno. I'm personally at odds with being at a point in my life where I'd like to calm down and focus on arts and good conversation and being a better person; while the state of the world calls for people with spines more than ever.
They'll make statements like this and then complain about people assuming that they're racist bigots. Because I'm pretty sure they're not talking about the '90s when Mandela was still in charge and there was hope and joy in the air in South Africa.
The well run 'South Africa' that they long for so much was the South Africa where the previous government only bothered doing their jobs for about 3% of the country before patting themselves on the back for a job well done. And they're comparing that to a government that isn't perfect but that also took on a lot more work and responsibility, and hasn't just drawn lines on a map and labelled huge sections of the country as "homelands" that they don't need to bother with.
I sincerely hope that when these people are flying over, there's some big mishap with aviation caused by Musk and they end up at the bottom of the sea.

And I couldn't find Congo Bill anywhere. Something tells me that Congo Bill would be pretty problematic and full of insulting stereotypes these days though.
Nah, the reason they're feeling so persecuted in South Africa is that they used to have someone else wiping their asses for them and now they're expected to do it themselves. With the way that it's been used in the last few years, it was starting to look like 'woke' means when a female character gets treated as anything other than a damsel in distress in superhero movies. Also, 'woke' is when gay people.
We're getting close to the point where the word is getting its original meaning back. It's woke to have your eyes open and be aware of what's going on around you.
Don't count on it. I'm sure they'll fit right into a trailer park in Alabama. But don't expect people who are going to make your society a better place for all to live in or anything. The problem is that most of the 'spam' comes from official things like websites that you've signed up to and didn't realise would also include dumb fkn emails periodically. And they don't always do it right away either. I've had emails suddenly start arriving from somewhere that I signed up to like a year before.
Personally, my spam mitigation is to have one email address for signing up to shit with. Then these assholes can email me until they're blue in the face and I don't care because the only time I ever visit that inbox is for verification. And then I have another email address for personal use that never gets used because who uses email for personal use these days?
In conclusion. Email is for signing up to things and collecting trash that I'll never look at.
Not that I would wish them on the Americans but I hope that more fuck off from this country soon. We'll all be better off here if every dumb fuck racist meat head that misses the old days would just go away. I'm sick of the second hand embarrassment and being associated with these fucking confederate inbred hillbillies just because of my skin colour. And I'm sick of religious, patriarchal, macho bigots.

You're onto something here. I'm starting to get more and more convinced that the only way to get the majority of Americans voting for reasonable people is if those people are ex reality TV stars and talk show hosts and shit. They need to assemble a team of Oprah Winfrey, Ricki Lake, Judge Judy, Guy Fieri, that asshole from the cooking shows, maybe Simon Cowell is free.
Then these people will forget all about concepts like 'meritocracy' and buy endless funny hats, foam fingers and Oprah™ brand bibles and be starstruck all the way to the voting booths.
I'm pretty sure he praised OJ Simpson at some point in the middle of all of that as well. He was also very concerned about offshore wind farms killing whales in record numbers. And there was that one incident where he just stood around on stage saying and doing nothing for an hour while golden oldies played.
The press was too busy printing headlines about Trump calling Biden "sleepy Joe" though. And honestly I'm not sure if an honest and fair press would've even helped in this case. It would've just been librul deep state propaganda. And they would've just gone on with their decorative diapers, foam fingers and Trump bibles regardless.
