I have an i3 and a hyprland installation.

I like tiling wms but Wayland still has some annoying issues so I like having the more stable i3 installation on my main computer.

Yes but in one case the kernel gets to do it. Holding the power button on the computer bypasses this after 5s while the apple tablet needs a lot longer (it feels like at least 10s).

I think after like 5s something above the kernel kicks in on my PC and it’s off in less than a second.

Aren’t purple worms most likely way more poisonous than the bait could realistically be?

I mean kobolds are really weak but delicious, which is why they use slings. But they’re also great working as a team so it might work.

For that kind of thing I use jitsi, works great and I have access to a sort of private instance that I use occasionally. Works for just voice too but it can be a little unreliable (the last two times I had a weird issue where the others suddenly couldn’t hear me and vice versa but reloading fixed it) so something else might be better for that…

5 (including the DM) are sufficient. Sometimes even 4.

It can be used to fix some plot holes created by too much improvisation too though.

I use a Wayland version of rofi when I use hyprland though wofi probably works fine too (which I believe is default as per the config).

I have that feeling with almost every proprietary binary from a website nowadays.

Still needs an arcane focus and the spell components could be problematic. Monk maybe? (A dextrous pile of dust gently (yet masterfully!) being blown at enemies)

I’ve used Sycthing but it was somewhat finicky.

I have a laptop with 4GB of RAM and it works fine, my fedora i3 installation. It’s nothing compared to a proper computer but it’s not like I ever run out of RAM either. (Generally I open two Firefox windows, discord and vscode)

I would say it’s about thunar configuration or URL handler configs more than anything. The other comment has what looks like a good solution for x11, no idea if it works on Wayland though.

Practically it is impossible, I agree but everyone being dead leaves nobody to suffer. Logically this seems like a simple yet functional solution.

It’s simplicity on a conceptual level is what I believe attracts so many to the idea.

I didn’t expect anyone to actually consider mass genocide being a serious practical solution.

I have no idea what this Thanos thing has to do with it either.

Also I have no idea what maths has to do with this. I never mentioned an equation. Just that by everyone I indeed meant everyone. This is a theoretical solution. If humanity insisted on being practical all the time we would probably not have ended up with things like topology.

Assuming every human actually does die that leaves just other animals and the few machines we left. I really don’t see how that would help rich people.
