I think that they should let the thousands of workers vote if they want to lose their jobs to prove a point. Of course the war is terrible, but so is displacing thousands of people who are still going to be eligible for the draft regardless. Probably even moreso when they no longer have jobs.

They have no choice. Exit Russia and leave thousands unemployed or follow Russian law and have business relatively as usual.

I am partial to a dedicated throwaway laptop because I have had the displeasure of accidentally blowing away my VM image’s code files on a roll-back, which is harder to do on bare metal. The article doesn’t say anywhere that they can get promotions. It seems to indicate that all servers are $30/hr and that no other levels exist to ascend to.

The system doesn’t make much sense if some servers are better than others, but make the same.
