It’s been over a decade since I answered a call from a number that wasn’t programmed into my phone. I won’t return the call unless a voicemail is left.

Some gouda puns here.
It helps if you still have friends that work at the company, that can kind of spy for you too.
An older woman was fired from the company I worked at in the early 2000s, and she was friends with a few people that still worked at the company. Found out she was replaced with a younger less qualified guy, and her friends were able to corroborate a lot of the ageism/sexism stuff, and she won the suit. Think she ended up being awarded something like whatever her salary was until the age of retirement, and ended up with close to a million dollar settlement.
I like how that nig morphed into never gonna give you up.
Real subtle.
Oh I would probably use a KBM if it’s available on PS5, but I like that camera control sounds similar to WoW.
Still hoping for a demo, so I can tell if I’ll like the turn based play. I’m really stingy when it comes to buying games, more so after the CP77 debacle. I know it’s not the Devs, but still, it’s left a bad taste in my mouth with how games are handled from the top.
If FS follows their past games, Armored Core 6 won’t have MTX either. Maybe a DLC, but I’m somewhat ok with expansions costing money as long as it brings actual content to the game.
I don’t remember any FS games having MTX, but I could be wrong.
I really hope PS5 gives a demo of this. I wanna give it a try, but not sure how I’ll like the gameplay with turn based stuff, and not sure how much I’ll like the view. I’m not a fan of aerial views, but if I can zoom it in and out, like WoW, I might like it.
That’s weird, cause for me, it looks like sync pro when I scroll, there’s absolutely no ad spaces or anything. Wonder if it’s a bug or something.
No one said anything about life support or return.
Just a rocket, a straight jacket, and right off into space you go. Depending on how many they cram in a rocket, there’s a chance they’ll have enough oxygen to see the spherical earth, shattering their weak minds, and succumbing to hypoxia, death, evacuating their bowels, and their corpses floating around in space, buried in their own shit and piss, boiling from solar radiation, becoming the first stew in space, before burning up on reentry.
Try checking out some other instances. Sh.itjust.works has some good stuff on it. I searched for Lemmy alternatives for reddit and found a few different instances that mostly scratch my itch.
Haven’t seen any ads on Sync, but I’ve only been using it for like an hour or 2 now.
I couldn’t stand the other apps for Lemmy. They felt too disjointed. Plus coming from Sync for Reddit, I just get the same look and feel that I’d been using for years, so there’s a definite bias.
Apparently Boost came to Lemmy too, so might give that a go too.
I think there are still some subs that are private, and I know a couple went NSFW and a bunch are getting harassed by admins to reopen or remove the NSFW tag.
My friend told me the cyberpunk sub couldn’t reply to the email they got telling them to turn off the NSFW tag. Because nearly full on sex scenes, decapitation, huge hogs with giant titties is absolutely SFW.
Looks like the smaller apps, and Narwhal has an NDA, so I’d bet they cut a deal with reddit to keep the price really low, in exchange for something, possibly forcing reddit ads into their app.
All have gone to a subscription format, which is still ridiculous. Reddit isn’t worth accessing for any price monthly.
Looks like lemmotif is in super beta and can’t even add an account. It does load pretty quickly though.
As a doctor of humanology, I have examined and can confirm this is the real Obama.
He’s such a lil piss baby.
This. Firefox has always been just good. It wasn’t great or anything, it was just a good browser. Then chrome came around and it had more, better features. It was a bit more memory usage, but those were for the additional features Firefox didn’t have.
Firefox didn’t really change a whole lot, it added synching features across accounts, and didn’t get worse. It just stayed the same.
The people made Firefox better, because now they’re creating add-ons for Firefox, where chrome had more.
I feel like once chrome got the majority of browser users, it immediately started going to shit. I have no proof of this, just a memory of it being better until it was announced that chrome was the most used browser, and the near immediate heavier memory usage.
