It sounds like you’re missing a bit of fat - I love this recipe from king Arthur baking, 1 part fat per 10 parts flour by volume (1/4 cup fat per 2 1/2 cups flour) https://www.kingarthurbaking.com/recipes/simple-tortillas-recipe
They’ll still claim interference because he has ongoing court cases, maga cult followers may not be good or smart people, but they are skilled at mental gymnastics around why them losing was unfair or justifying Trump’s actions
Only if you’re commenting as much as a bot, probably wouldn’t be any more power usage than opening up a poorly optimized website tbh
Yep it’s still chill. The war just started so I’ve spent the past 2 hours driving materials from my regiments stockpiles to the Frontline, eventually partisans (enemies behind the Frontline) took out my truck so I flagged the location, next time I drove through they were all gone and I kept delivering supplies. Even if you mess something up in logistics, no one is going to get mad at you. It’s competitive in that each team hates each other, but largely unless you start trolling or team killing people are positive.
If you do end up getting it I can help ya get started learning stuff if you need
The next war in foxhole starts today, it’s a war MMO and I highly recommend it. No subscription (one time $30 purchase on steam), no microtransactions, no paid expansions, no cosmetic bs, grind is optional. New players are in the same spot as veterans, all resources are shared (regiments/people can have private stockpiles, but they decay after 48 hours of being inactive) and are all made by players. You don’t get anything for making or transporting supplies except for the joy of supporting the war effort - which is good because if no one made supplies, no one could fight.
Want to chill? Mine scrap and make basic materials, throw in your nearest seaport for anyone to take (or put in your regiments stockpile if you’re in one). Or transport supplies from far backline stockpiles to Frontline/closer via truck, train, or boat. Or drive supplies to the Frontline, just make sure you have a gas mask and radio! Or make bullets, medical supplies, or anything else in the game at factories. Or trucks, cars, boats, tanks, trains, etc.
Want to plan? Either start building up production centers at the start of the war, rebuild them as we take land, or build defenses in the backline or on the front.
Want to fight? Get on a ship crew in an artillery gun and listen to your captain to tell you when and where to fire. Get in a tank with a crew and go balls to the wall on the front line. Grab a gun and some supplies and charge into trench warfare. Mortars? Yep. RPG’s? Yep. Want to be a doctor? Move with friendlies and fix them up when they get messed up, or carry them back to your hospital to get new supplies for people to spawn from.
Want to be sneaky? Sneak past the Frontline and sabotage their logistics people or buildings.
Want to be a gigachad? Join the wardens now.
I think it was partially to make the statement more sensational, because 60 sq km is ~23 sq miles, so it barely makes the top 30 biggest games by map size (as of some 2023 articles)
Donations and fundraisers are tax deductible, it doesn’t actually cost the rich anything to donate to them
I recommend endeavouros - it’s on arch (personally my favorite, btw), has a bunch of desktop environments you can pick from that come configured nicely out of the box, nice presets and well commented configs, etc. Install and setup are super easy, they also include installing your driver’s and such.
For getting games to work, most games work out of the box on steam (just make sure to enable proton for all titles and you’re set). Some games will require some changes to the launch command which you can super easily find with just searching {game title} Linux. There are some that straight up don’t work, and most likely no tinkering will fix that - but it’s primarily fps and competitive games with kernal level anticheat. It’s getting better with fewer and fewer games using it though. Since you already have a steak deck you already know the process most likely so you should be able to hit the ground running
At the gop convention this year, the log cabin Republicans were called groomers. The leopards are already eating faces
In my CS degree I would have only learned and used java if not for my optional data science courses, a single class on machine language, a single SQL course, and a c++ course at community college before going to uni.
My data science courses introduced me to matlab, bash, r, Julia, python, machine learning, docker, Linux, and aws. My uni didn’t even have a data science degree, those courses primarily counted towards my math minor since they were under statistics.
The one piece of advice I still give to every CS student I meet is to diversify your classes whenever possible, don’t just stick to the core comp sci classes and take throwaway electives
So either Kamala becomes president a few months early and faces maga rioting, or becomes president at the normal time and faces maga rioting
I use bspwm and I really like the unicorne philosophy of the config files (bspwm controls your windows and such, sxhkd controls keybinds, two separate programs and config files. The bspwm config file is also just a bash file so you can add anything bash related to it easily.
This said, I love the dynamic workspaces on i3 and wish bspwm could replicate them. I don’t like i3 enough to switch to it purely because it’s also on x, but when Nvidia gets better Wayland support I’m definitely hopping ship to sway (i3 on sway basically)… Or when I’m able to swap my 3080 ti for an and gpu at a reasonable price
It’s even better than I thought:
“Kamala Harris. You know it’s interesting nobody really knows her last name,”
The good f word, not the bad f word
He got out on bail then immediately fled the country (Romania I think)
He is partially right - there are people making a lot of money from climate change… Or at least from causing it
I personally use lidarr to download and picard to tag, but use plex/plexamp to listen locally and on my phone
Vance makes him a weaker candidate for sure, but emphasizing how bad he is makes trump weaker too. Not pushing on how awful Vance is only benefits trump, there’s no point bashing Vance after the election which is in just 4 months. They’ve already been confirmed as the GOP candidates as of the GOP convention so it’s a lot more work for them to drop Vance already (a lot of things need to happen both to national agencies and every individual state, plus another GOP convention to approve a new vp). If they try to drop him, it will leave them very busy and scrambling to get a new person late in the game. Bash on Vance as much as possible, trump is stuck with him.
What are you even talking about not having a choice? I agree Google is awful, but even on pixel phones you can change most aspects of it - definitely including your browser/search app and engine. Just switch to Firefox and/or use duckduckgo, or any of the other browsers and search engines that are readily available. I haven’t used chrome in years, but if you’re a chromebro I’m pretty sure it supports changing the search engine too.
If your launcher doesn’t support changing your search engine/app in a built-in search bar, throw a different browser widget up on your home screen or get a new launcher with a better app/web search widget, unless you got your phone from work or something with restrictions in place you can easily swap out your launcher for a 3rd party one. I personally use Niagara launcher and like it a lot, if you want a more traditional launcher there’s KISS (It’s also foss), and launchair
