We watched Kpop Demon Hunters, which was ok. It suffers from the same problems as Turning Red in that it doesn't seem to know what to do with its messaging other than "parental pressures and generational trauma bad". Action sequences were good but not spectacular, music was fine but not great.
All in all a reasonably entertaining movie that slightly disappointed us with all of the good things we'd heard about it.
"It was the latest escalation of President Donald Trump's campaign to deport all immigrants who are in the U.S. Illegally."
This is similar to a sentence like: "Please point out all the boys eating hot dogs quickly", which is also ambiguous in the same ways, but I feel shows the intended interpretation more clearly.
It's almost like that bullshit is exactly the reason why so many Americans support stronger freedom of speech laws.
