Yes. Conservatives vote out of a sense of duty. They don’t really pay attention to politics. They vote every opportunity, no matter the circumstances. The 30% who always vote conservative are unaffected by the bullshit that makes progressives throw their hands up and walk away from it all. Progressives vote when they are motivated to vote, and can just as easily be demotivated. It’s shitty and we need to do better.

This is why I claim that fascism is less a political ideology than it is an expression and exploitation of basic human psychology. This isn’t an American thing. This isn’t a 2024 thing. Human beings believe this all over the world, and always do. A significant portion of us are hard wired to worry about “purity”, which can be sullied in a number of psychologically related ways, making us feel disgust. Such people tend conservative.

I dunno what cameras you are using but a standard full frame sensor and an F/4 lens sees way better in low light than the human eye. If I take a raw image off my camera, there is so much more dynamic range than I can see or a monitor can even represent, you can double the brightness at least four times (ie 16x brighter) and parts of the image that looked pure black to the eye become perfectly usable images. There is so so so much more dynamic range than the human eye.

Hard to credit without a source, modern cameras have way more dynamic range than the human eye.
