“Yeah but the Bible was talking about Christians, not Haitians and Mexicans”

I’m pretty sure that time he altered a hurricane map with a sharpie was in the Oval Office.
I went to elementary school when whitehouse.com was still a porn site. I remember a class in the computer lab where we were supposed to do research on the government. Our teacher was very clear about going to the .gov website and absolutely not the .com one.
Whatever adult content blocking they had set up did not work.
It’s also an unnecessary use of the passive voice. Did the nativist attacks fall out of the sky and land on the rally? No, Trump made them himself.
iOS shows the voicemail transcript in realtime as they’re leaving the message.
Referring to Marjorie Taylor Greene as “it” isn’t very nice
I don’t think he actually thinks that, I think it’s just that he is simple-minded and once he makes a concrete connection between concepts he’s unable to stop using it.
In his 2016 campaign, his advisers were pushing him to focus on immigration reform. They had policies that would make it harder for people to illegally immigrate (and legally, tbh), and they figured that would be a winning issue with republican voters. But Trump couldn’t stay on script, and kept neglecting to talk about immigration. So his advisors told him that the policies would be “like a wall” that stopped border crossings. “The wall” was supposed to be a mental image to remind him to discuss immigration. But Trump is too literal-minded, and starts just talking about the wall. The rest is history.
Fyi the internet archive has paywall free versions of most Atlantic articles
They could’ve made this clearer.
Honestly this sounds like user error. From one of the links in the article:
As the journalist and Apple Store staff tested, if you insert the wrong passcode for 1 to 5 times, there will only be red notifications saying the passcode is wrong, and you needn’t wait to give it another try.
For the 6th time you insert a wrong passcode, it will report, “iPhone is disabled, try again in 1 minute”. And the phone will be locked, and you won’t be able to insert passcode again until 1 minute later.
For the 7th time, the iPhone will show, “iPhone is disabled, try again in 5 minutes”.
For the 8th time, the iPhone will be locked for 15 minutes, and for the 9th time, it will be locked for 60 minutes to insert passcode again.
If you insert the wrong passcode for 10th time, the iPhone will be disabled and you will have to connect it to iTunes to unlock.
Apparently if you jailbreak the iPhone the delays aren’t set correctly (or at least that was the case 10 years ago)?
On top of that, the user couldn’t just wipe the phone because they didn’t want to lose a video that wasn’t backed up anywhere else.
If the immigration doesn’t work, at least the bomb threats are adding some excitement for the townsfolk.
widely distributed them. Many of them went to civilians for legitimate purposes.
Source?
There are many sources because it’s been widely reported. Here’s one: reuters.

Seems unlikely considering only pagers belonging to Hezbollah had the explosives added.
And this is after Dick Cheney already endorsed Harris…
I’ll admit I was wrong. I thought any democratic candidate would be in a weaker spot if Biden withdrew, including Harris.
Harris did an excellent job of consolidating the party behind her, something I’m extremely grateful for.
What a terrible day to have eyes
