  • This is super minor. We can only hope it's a cover for something more life threatening.

The swelling also occurs with late stage heart failure. Which is why they were so quick to announce a diagnosis that didn't indicate he'd die soon.

  • Are you just waking up from a coma? Because they've been pretty open about wanting to privatize the government and run it like a business. Mitt Romney basically campaigned on that over a decade ago.

  • While that's one part, they had to say something because of that picture of his legs.

CVI can cause swelling like that and is sort of treatable, but at his age another common cause of that ankle edema is late stage heart failure. As in "probably wouldn't last term" late stage. And that rumour spreading would cause him major issues, like people spending more money on Vance than him.

  • You are very much correct, and don't worry about the other comment. You see that elitist take scarily often in some of these communities. I saw one person try to argue that programs should be intentionally made less user friendly, to force people to become better at computers.

They literally don't understand how most people think and only see things from their own tech perspective.

  • I've said it before, and I'll keep saying it: Conservatism is narcissism.

You literally can't be conservative without having lower than average empathy. Because every single policy is intentionally designed to hurt someone.

  • Control the weather. Target individuals. How can anyone get this stupid?

Most of the out-there conspiracy people just don't understand something(in this case climate change), and invent/attached themselves to a fantasy where they've "seen through the lies" and everyone else is wrong. A lot of them actually know deep down that they're wrong, but ironically they don't want to be seen as stupid for admitting they don't understand. That's why they love using phrases that indicate non-believers are dumb, followers/sheep, or that deniers just don't understand, etc.

TL;DR: They're too stupid to realize they're acting stupid.

  • The three people were replaced with a guy who used to work at EA. And one of their first announcements was an unprompted "we wont put loot boxes in the game"..

  • There's also quite a few people in the US who are catholic in name only, and are actually against the pope/vatican. It's so bad that last year the vatican ended up excommunicating an Italian archbishop and former diplomat to the US, because over the years he'd gone full blown conspiracy theorist maga. To the point where he was ranting about the new world order and called pope Francis a servant of Satan.

  • I hope for your sake that you haven't actually the seen pictures or clips of the event, and that you're just parroting things you've heard.

  • Yeah, for some reason they've seemed to made it harder to find the actual start menu settings instead of more generic taskbar settings. So that's a fair point.

  • Windows has this "feature", where is the setting?

I assume youre talking about W11?

Because the "Show recently added apps" setting is third option in the start menu settings on W10.

  • It's so weird listening to people like that.

They've spent so much time metaphorically jerking eachother off and gassing eachother up, that they don't realize their projection is VERY obvious.

  • Yes, Donald Trump is narcissistic liar. In other news, water is wet and the sky is blue.

  • That's one way to tell everyone that you didn't understand the comment.

  • I know Jerry Seinfeld is a creep and along with Jason Alexander they're both zionists. Michael Rirchard had that whole racism incident. But what did Jula Lous-Dreyfus do?

  • Go - Dough. God - Oh.

Or even "g'dough", either way the T is always silent.

  • No.

Camp means encampment. Which refers to temporary or light shelter, usually for a group. And the term "concentration camp" is from the 1800s.

  • One of the big reasons many people are "okay" with making fun of him. Is that he could basically make it all go away if he just admitted he was wrong.

The whole thing stems from him being so full of himself that he cannot admit any fault, ever. He has been objectively proven wrong many times on several different topics, there are a lot of situations that heavily indicate misconduct, etc. And he literally went on a stream with a licensed psychiatrist who tried to explain some of his faults. To which he laughed and said "Okay, don't see it that way, but alright".

At the end of the day, he seems almost incapable of admitting that he ever did or said anything wrong. So people keep making fun of him, since he's objectively proven wrong repeatedly.

  • The big thing is that admitting earlier could prevent it going as far as it has in the past.
