I’m a geographer and haven’t been techie since it was considered technical to connect a VCR to a TV using RCA cables
Articles like this are dumb… This just puts the burdon on everyday people who are doomed to fail if they try. If the entire world turned vegan would it make a difference? Rather, how about some tough legislation against the top polluting companies responsible for climate change… That would mean some politicians would have to refuse a few bribes, tough I know, but any level of effort here will create more results than a world giving up meat

Making nutritious food more expensive is not a good plan. This only harms the poor and vulnerable. Holding the top 100 companies responsible for climate change is a much better starting point

That link took me to a loud hot mess express with ads automatically blaring in Korean (I think)
Edit: Hm, I’m getting downvoted. Either my experience was way different than everyone else’s or OP is suppressing my comment. Can anyone confirm or deny the experience I had when visiting this site?
Assuming a users upvote history or karma ever meant anything, this demonstrates perfectly it’s useless on Lemmy.

A simple B&W laser printer would work great for all those things
Praise be to the dark lord!

Reddit basically has leprosy and has been falling apart for a while. You don’t notice the accumulation of small changes until you take a step back and reevaluate it as a whole
Same, I heard about Lemmy from Sync. I’m just waiting for them to roll out Sync Pro for Lemmy
I see you fixed the “I” so it doesn’t read like a “|”
Yes, Sync for Reddit was on Android
I was born and raised in Florida. I left on my own as soon as I turned 18 and never looked back, that was 24 years ago. I still have people I care about in Florida, but it’s a big country and you’re free to move about as you please according to your priorities
