No not Pee-wee :(
Big Adventure is an absolute classic. It should be revered on the same level as Princess Bride imo.

But you don’t understand! It’s not straightforward!
They totally care about the employees there. It’s definitely not about the profit they made that had them paying 33m in taxes to Russia last year.
I’m sure they offered to relocate the employees and not you know, just leave them working in the country to get conscripted.
I noticed that too. It’s not even a good logo to steal, it’s always felt old.
LOOOOOOL. Did he just snag the dated and always terrible logo from Xorg and think it was cool and modern?
I thought Teams was more of a curse than a competitor.
Kidding aside. It’d be nice if we stopped these massive corporations from hoovering up other businesses BEFORE antitrust complaints are needed. But that’ll never happen.
It’s going to piss off users and people trying to find Reddit info via Google. It will actively do the opposite of encouraging users to switch to Lemmy or something else because they won’t want to migrate over to a den of assholes. Just delete the comments.
The biggest issue though is that you’ll give Reddit an excuse to revert your comments. Unless you’re in Europe, it’s their data not yours. Reverting deleted comments makes them look bad to existing users, reverting or wiping out cesspool comments will give them actual justification.
Lack luster for what though. Does anyone honestly really care that much about the cosmetics? It’s barely visible.
I agree. Getting cutscenes and actual story content rather than just some tweaked changes and a few items added is a good proposition.
For 4-10 bucks every three months that’s totally sane.
I’m also really enjoying the “free pass” season chapters. It gives you some goals to work on if you skip the campaign rather than just renown and farming whispering tree.
I’m not surprised they used Reddit data to train. I am shocked a bit at how fucking lazy and haphazard they were with the data.
There’s only logical arguments for anonymizing the data which it looks like they didn’t do. It’s such a massive privacy risk not to. It also puts the company at legal risk. Who knows what other bizarre info it’ll leak.
I purposely bought the base dash on my Focus ST. Screen is smaller than a phone like 4 inches at most, has no apps. It Bluetooth syncs my phone for music and calls. There’s no touchscreen, all interactions are dedicated knobs and buttons.
For GPS I just use my phone and audio directions, my smart watch has the upcoming direction as well. If I really don’t know where I’m going I have a dash mount for my phone if I need it. But that’s not often.
It’s great honestly and the dash doesn’t blind me driving at night.
I was also looking at a Mazda before I got this car and their dash is absolutely horrendous. It’s like they just took a Alibaba knock off iPad and welded it on top of the dash. It’s literally in your view of the road causing a small blind spot.
I’m on PS5 and haven’t had it crash once. What class are you trying? What region are you playing in?
Maybe try deleting and reinstalling the game? Seems crazy you have so many more issues that you can’t even get into the game.
Not that I don’t believe you or anything. There must be something there to may your experience so drastically different.
Aaaah I understand.
What do you mean by the cost? Because you didn’t want to wipe out your Windows OS? I’ve been running distros on my personal PC for 23 years now. Can’t say I’ve ever spent money on it except for some cheap CDs. I think I even got distro cds for cheap that came with linux magazines.
They did in a way. They discussed memory leaks and also when talking about increasing mob density they discussed needing to work on making some of the abilities more performant (it sounded like network performance) but that could impact overall game performance as well.
Agreed. You can’t compare any Lemmy apps to Apollo or RiF etc. They had years of feedback and development.
Where Mlem and Liftoff are at already is extremely impressive from both teams.
Planning on going Druid without looking up builds. There’s some stuff in the patch notes that seemed…eh. But I’m willing to give it a chance. I just have fun leveling up casually. It’s already a back burner game for me since I’m not a grinder.
Yeah but if the hotfix is still just reverting the drop rate you still need 250 now instead of 175. As a casual player that tries to do helltides if they happen to be there it basically kills them for me if the timing isn’t miraculous. I’d rather they just limit it to 1 mystery chest or something.
I really don’t get the helltides nerf. They’re supposed to be special events. If you don’t catch the helltide immediately at the start getting to 250 is way too stressful.
Ignore past FF games. Think more a long the lines of God of War.
Things that it does a lot better than GoW imo: There’s a LOT of enemy variety. It’s actually impressive how much. 50% of the enemies aren’t rando zombies like GoW.
A lot of the fights are easy. But, kind of refreshing to steam roll trash mobs after GoW if I’m honest.
There’s a shit ton of amazing mini-boss and boss fights and the ratio between that and trash mobs is really high. Some of the bosses are hard at all of them at least require you to play close attention.
The writing and polish isn’t as good as God of War but…. It feels better for the game length. I personally felt like GoW overstayed it’s welcome in both games. While the FF writing isn’t as good it’s more fitting of a longer game. It’s still a good story, it just has some rough polish.
The RPG aspect is essentially identical to GoW. Gear and leveling. If you had swapped the systems both games I wouldn’t even notice. They’re both really shallow and unlock some basic combos.
There’s also little exploration, even compared to GoW. On the one hand I hated a lot of the GoW back tracking treasure hunt loop after a while. It’s nice to play linear games sometimes. On the other hand, it could’ve done with some well done reasons to explore the maps.
So long winded way of saying if you like the linear single player action adventure games that Sony is known for its fantastic. If you want some grand jrpg maybe don’t pick it up right now if you’re in the mood for that.
Trump is almost 1:1 a character straight from Transmetropolitan.
Then you have people like Elon that are straight from any cyberpunk media corporate heads.
The parallels between the themes of a cyberpunk dystopia and the present are drawing pretty close.
We just don’t get any of the cool shit like cybernetic implants.
