How does this compare to Revolt?
Imaginary dragons… As opposed to real dragons? 🤔
Not 100% sure but since I can preload the game it seems like the base game will be a free demo with an in-app purchase to upgrade to the full version.
It’s not even copyright, they’re suing for using things they patented, but their patents are extremely general. I kid you not, they have a patent for MOUNTING CREATURES, something hundreds of games have done.
Abstract: In an example of a game program, a ground boarding target object or an air boarding target objects is selected by a selection operation, and a player character is caused to board the selected boarding target object. If the player character aboard the air boarding target object moves toward the ground player character automatically changed to the state where the player character is aboard the ground boarding target object, and brought into the state where the player character can move on the ground.
I’m no lawyer so I can’t tell you how well this would hold up in court but it’s ridiculous. See more: https://patents.justia.com/assignee/the-pokemon-company
It’s weird that they’re adding E2EE on voice but not in private text DMs, which is probably everybody’s biggest concern when it comes to security on Discord. Better than nothing I guess.
Everyone: I wish Mozilla would just focus on their browser and not their other BS
fast forward to them cutting costs on a Mastodon server that nobody uses
Everyone: WTF??? I KNEW MOZILLA WAS A FAILURE OF A COMPANY CORPORATIONS ARE NOT OUR FRIENDS WHAT CLOWNS
Threads like this make me wonder why any corporation would bother with the fediverse when this is how most people are on mastodon
he problem is if Lash ults and nobody in your team has a stun, he can grab everyone and shove them into the top floor. There’ll be no time to get the crystal before him.
If anything I expected a bigger nerf, I don’t know why they gave it splash damage last update considering it was already good…
I’m also not a fan of the icons but the minimap itself is an improvement IMO. Much better contrast and it’s easier to see what’s happening.
This is throwing me off so much because I used to press TAB+number to upgrade abilities. Splitting it into two different buttons makes things more difficult imo.
He’s actually one of the strongest heroes in team fights. You don’t necessarily need to deal that much damage, but your one job is to hook enemies out of position and drag them into your team so they can finish him off.
If you rush mystic power and burst damage you should be dealing a ton of damage per bomb. I’ve seen builds that can guarantee a kill by double bombing with echo shard and there’s nothing you can do about it aside from stronger defense items.
What an overreaction. Also FYI the free file limit was 8MB two years ago before they raised the limit to 25MB, so if anything it’s gotten better.
I guess you missed the part where he said “Oh you said X but you’re actually implying Y? Did you mean Y? Please confirm you actually meant Y.”
The switch 2 is basically confirmed, a lot of journalists claimed there was a behind-doors showcase of it to people in the industry showing Zelda running a lot smoother.
I think everyone will be happy if it’s just the Switch again with higher specs. Backwards compatibility sounds great.
Can you confirm that you think with L3, the result would look completely opposite and the summaries of the AI would always beat the human summaries? Because it sounds like you are implying that.
Lemmy users try not to make a strawman argument (impossible challenge)
No, that’s not what I said, and not even close to what I was implying. If Llama 2 scored a 47% then 3.1 would score significantly better, easily over 60% at least. No doubt humans can be better at summarizing but A) It needs someone that’s very familiar with the work and has great English skills and B) It needs a lot of time and effort.
The claim was never that AI can summarize better than people, it was that it can do it in 10 seconds and the result would be “good enough”. People are already doing AI summaries of longer articles without much complaints.
I read the article. I’m aware it’s an older study. Point still stands.
The most promising model, Meta’s open source model Llama2-70B, was prompted to summarise the submissions
Llama 2 is insanely outdated and significantly worse than Llama3.1, so this article doesn’t mean much.
I thought it was fine but it could have been great had it understood why people actually liked BOTW. The idea that you can just highlight every object in a 1km radius around you completely kills exploration, you’re incentivized to just go from map marker to map marker instead of actually exploring the world.
While you were out there whacking your straight stick, I spent years studying the blade…
