I wanted to connect with my Guardian Tales players but i could not find any post/community for it, or gacha gaming in general
Is anyone interested in creating a new community for GachaGaming, or even better for Guardian Tales?
When I Gacha, I prefer to find the specific community surrounding it.
I suggest starting the community you want to see and posting your accomplishments as you go. This is coming from someone who misses their mobile game community.
I’m okay with it, as long as it doesn’t turn into the cesspool the same community “on the other site” was.
I guess harsh criticism of particular games are better served on their own communities instead of badmouthing them gratuitously for non-players.
As disclaimer for personal bias, I play Genshin and PGR (and I’m satisfied with both), and I’m not fond of games like Nikke and Blue Archive. Even then, I’d rather never shit on Nikke and BA, and have more nuanced discussions.
Why don’t you like NIKKE or Blue Archive? Is it gameplay related, or pull rate, ui design, something else?
@tenth I’m not interested because gacha is a predatory type of game that generally invites the worst practices in game design (or, “best” if you consider making money out of every single action a player does). But some people do enjoy them in spite of that, so you do you.
Gacha is so close to P2W that I didn’t know until recently that those are separated concepts
What’s the point of this comment, showing the filthy Skinner box peasants how enlightened you are?
I typically prefer to only engage in the specific communities of the gacha games I play. I don’t like or have interest in all gacha games, and the ones I do play are so niche they would just get lost in the void to all the ten million posts about Honkai Star Rail or that FATE gacha game.
I am sad there is no Super Mecha Champions community, but the game is pretty niche as it is, so its not all that surprising. While me posting about it could act as a sort of draw for potential new players, I am not an advertiser nor am I paid to do that. If someone asks, I will mention it, but other than that I typically just stick to the existing Discord.
That being said, if a community for anything doesn’t already exist on your chosen instance, or if one does exist but you don’t like its moderation or whatever, nothing is stopping you from creating one yourself.
