Without having to explain basic social skills to you, Buster Keaton was a comedic and cinematic genius on the same level as the great Charlie Chaplin, whose contributions were unfortunately not given the proper attention while he was still alive and when Hollywood was ready to “make amends” he died shortly after.
Yes, it was quite inconsiderate of him.
In any case, that’s why it’s not inconceivable to have a dedicated lemmy community for Buster Keaton.
