I don’t think instance admin should mute or block communities just because people don’t like that some content shows up on their ALL timeline.
Now, there is a case to be made about muting some content, but in general the all timeline is supposed to be wild and untamed.
I suppose it should introduce you to things you aren’t already subscribed to but I’m not going to cry over instances blocking things that are widely considered undesirable on that instance. I’m happy enough blocking things I know I don’t like manually for now.
