There aren’t that many settings as of now, but every time I reinstall the app, I need to manually correct the settings to my preference. Would it be possible to export/import those settings in a file?

Could be that it’s more work to import/export now (consider the limited number of settings) than that it’s helpful though. But that might very well change in the future.

If there aren’t many settings, then of course it’s pointless.

But the argument that native apps behave the same is not logical, because it’s equally annoying IMO. Many native apps therefore store their settings, but a webapp might not be allowed to do so considering OS restrictions like sandboxing.

Are you on Android? It might be possible there, but there isn’t a straight forward way to do this on iOS. Best would probably be to store it on your own server, but I’m pretty sure there isn’t a “wefwef” account linked to the accounts that you log in with. So I’m pretty sure that would be non-trivial to do.

Maybe there could be a settings import/export option where you save the file yourself, I guess you have a point if e.g. filter etc. grow big enough.

It’s more of an annoyance than anything else considering the limited number of settings currently, but that number will like grow in the future.

Thanks so much for your suggestions though! But those are way to much effort IMO in comparison to the small number of settings I need to restore after installation. The dev just asked me to add it as an issue to github, so I guess I’ll wait for that first.
