Different to “thousands mowed down” or whatever it was originally reported as. It’s already completely unconscionable, so I wish there was more accurate reporting. The fog of propaganda ends up serving the opponent, because they can just point at the exaggerations as proof their “enemy” is lying. Probably a case of group/organisational decision-making by media outlets, so I doubt it’ll stop any time soon.

I’ve read about it from several different sources including Al Jazeera quoting the initial Hamas estimate and nowhere did they claim “thousands mowed down”. AFAIR the highest count Ive seen until now was 80-something.

I agree that any number of people killed while lined up for or distributing emergency food aid over 0 is absolutely unconscionable, of course, in case there’s any doubt.
