      In Sweden there’s a lot of tree plantation and also I hear a lot of “We have to stop cutting down trees”

      What the duck are we going to be building our houses out of then? Clay?

        Cutting down trees for construction is actually fine - you want to stop burning trapped carbon. Anyways even burning the occasional tree isn’t awful when compared to burning oil.

        Nothing we can do to sequester carbon even approaches the energy efficiency of just not taking it out of the ground in the first place.

          I know and agree, however there’s been a big group advocating for only preservation of forests
