Masked ICE Agents Smash Car, Beat and Arrest Local Father Without Warrant in Connecticut: 'Another day in dystopian hell'

A video recorded last week has ignited outrage online after it captured ICE agents violently arresting two brothers in South Norwalk, Connecticut, in broad daylight without producing a warrant. The men, identified as Ricardo Chavez and his brother, reportedly hold legal status to live and work in the United States.
The footage (credit @alwaysfilmthepolice) shows plainclothes ICE agents forcibly detaining the men in a public area. Witnesses say the agents refused to provide identification or present a warrant when asked, instead resorting to physical force and a taser to subdue the brothers before hauling them away. They also allegedly damaged their vehicle.
Community members who know the Chavez family insist that both men are law-abiding residents with valid documentation. “They work, they pay taxes, and they belong here,” said one South Norwalk resident who witnessed the arrest. “This was nothing short of a kidnapping.”
I have no idea how not a single ICE agent has been killed yet?
Apparently the good guy with a gun is a myth.
Because they don't try this shit with people who look like they can hit back, most of those have real arrest warrants on them so they can leave that for local and state cops to deal with and just focus on ambushing students and day laborers and people with small children

I am low key shocked that some group of vigilantes hasn’t straight up ambushed a pack of ICEheads yet.
That's a poor strategy and most people understand that on some level. Either because of the civil rights movement and understanding the value of the moral high ground or because people understand they want violence to declare martial law. That just isn't the play.
Also Luigi isn't a myth.
I won't comment on whether political violence is the right thing to do, but if you think the civil rights movement was peaceful you've been taught some disgustingly whitewashed history. Ever heard of the Black Panthers? They got in firefights with the police all the time, even though many would later pretend that MLK was the only and unanimous voice for all of America's oppressed.
Also the whole Civil Rights movement can be traced to the Civil War, instigated in part by people like John Brown whose whole thing was massacring slavers in the name of God.
This rewriting of history of America as a nation of peaceful citizens who got their Rights by Asking Nicely fucking pisses me off.
I tell you what the real myth is. Thinking they need violence to declare martial law. They clearly don't. So that's an argument people need to stop making.
It's possible they have, and those incidents get suppressed for fear of encouraging imitators - similar to Luigi Mangione.
News sites want you scared, but not angry.
Because they are well armed. Attacking them would be a suicide mission and people are not suicidal.
