57·1 year agobut the notch doesn’t eat into your screen space. You get more screen with a notch, as the screen is expanded upwards into what would have been the bezel, just not where the camera is. I’d much rather take the extra screen space on the same size device, even if it means changing the screen’s shape.

one thing I did like about reddit is the “ninja edit” - if you edit your comment within 3 minutes of posting it then it doesn’t show as “edited”. Allows correcting typos etc without the label. I guess that’s not a thing on Lemmy?
