Sadly, Fortnite doesn’t run on Linux. EAC has Linux support in general but Epic doesn’t it for Fortnite…
Was one of the first things I tried on my Steamdeck after installing HeroicLauncher. Would have been nice with the gyro.

Thunderbird - a bit slouchy at times but featurewise I’m very happy with it :)
No, since I can’t sensibly use Reddit on my phone.
I misread - yes, I use Lemmy somewhat less now than I used to use Reddit. Which is probably a good thing^^
This one :)
This is what makes me sometimes unsure whether I should offer monetary help if I don’t know the person intimately enough to judge this sufficiently.
Dunno if counts as a game really… But about 4k hrs of VRChat - love the place and the friends I made there!
Which was closed, of course. It’s a political shitshow right now. Amsterdam municipality already runs its own Mastodon, and this fuckup will probably have consequences in moving official broadcast channels off Twitter.
Germanys gov runs its own Mastodon instances - social.bund.de - where the cabinet, the ministries, state institutes etc have their official accounts.
Some non-political examples are: The German Weather Service, the German Aerospace Institute, and the Consumer Protection Agency.
It would be one thing if employment were “optional” to some degree, or there were always more jobs than people to do them, but so many people are one missed paycheck or medical emergency away from homelessness, you basically have no choice but to grin and bear it.
Well, it is “optional” to some degree. I know plenty of people across Europe who are doing oke enough on basic support. It’s not an amazing living but it’s not like you are out on the streets. And a medical emergency will not cripple you with debt.
At least far as actually freedom-loving democracies go (as in, free to abort, free to express your identity, free to protest, …).
Dungeon of the Endless - It’s a tower defense / tactical game with great pixel art and one of the best soundtracks I’ve ever heard.
Doesn’t actually appear to be on sale tho
The Orville - I’m happy :)
Developing in a Windows environment, I generally prefer Git Extensions.
It doesn’t distract the eye with unneeded fancy and is very close to a command line git experience but still allows me a better visual sense of the repository and branches.
What I prefer most about having a UI is the better sense of overview over the repository and it’s branches.
I find, when compared to people I’ve worked with that prefer plain git, that I’m much quicker at finding certain changes or seeing what is in which branch with GitExtensions.
News like this are what allows me to stay hopeful!
Some fights are just not worth the hassle tho, you got to pick your battles.
And it’s not like there is anyone factually “right” or “wrong”, it’s mostly a matter of opinions/priorities.
Another example, different expectations w.r.t. to cleaning. Either try to convince the other person to clean more, even if they don’t see the need, or be always the one cleaning and build up frustration. Or: Get a roomba.
I generally suck at playing shooters with controllers but I was looking forward to try the Gyro controls for Fortnite.
You can as a workaround play Fortnite on the Deck via XBox Live in a browser. But there you don’t have Gyro controls :(
