I’m gonna have to downvote you on this.
We ain’t being a baby. Coriander/Cilantro is a genetic thing. You either love it, or you hate it. We can’t help not liking it.
I find it tastes like soap and overpowers everything it’s put into. So if you want to know my experience, cut up a bar of soap and put it into your salad like it’s some sort of weird cheese and try eating it. It’s not a good experience.
I have 2 PCs
my main one is full AMD running hyprland -5800X, 7900XTX, 32GB ram, etc.
My second PC is solely used for streaming and is running an old GTX 1070 for encoding purposes.
From what I can see, I’ve not really had any issues running hyprland on it. Though I will admit it doesn’t do much beyond running Carla, OBS, Qpwgraph, Firefox, discord and jack_mixer on specially designated workspaces. And it streams soley via EVGA Xr1 Lite capture devices. It does have desktop-portal-hyprland, just in case I want to capture my stream PCs desktop, but I don’t really use it much. It’s connected as a second input to my secondary monitor, and has a mirrored display on a small touch screen so I don’t have to swap monitor inputs too often, and can trigger scene changes with just a touch. The hardest part was getting the monitors to play nicely, as the touchscreen sits upside down.
Full specs of my second PC, as it’s quite old - Intel Core i5-4690, ASRock H97M pro4, 16GB Ram, EVGA GTX 1070, Intel 120GB SSD, 1TB WD Green 5400rpm HDD.
It’s like the XP olive theme with the vista/7 style widgets sidebar - all you need is the RPM style CPU usage gauges.
Good point, I might have to check that.
I plan to get a second dock for it, and use it in place of a stream deck for when I stream.
Then it will be serve these purposes for me
(replacing the tired old barely adequate first gen raspberry pi+touchscreen I was using until a few months ago)
Hey, that counts in my book!
Aww, where’s the community for videos about bread?
Factorio
I recognise that internet router on the right. That looks like the “smart router” Telstra gives their customers - we have one we used to use back when we had Telstra cable. It’s currently playing the duty of an Ethernet switch for dad’s office.
To me, they can keep what they’ve already got from me, they just won’t get any more directly from me- I don’t trust them to honour data deletion requests properly anyway.
I’ve already deleted my account, and never put a deletion request beforehand. And from what I hear you have to do it before you delete your account for them to even give you a chance of honouring the deletion request.
I just bought the JSAUX one - the one with the stand.
I doubt they have the sense of humour for that.
Factorio - but I tend to flip between both pads and sticks
I finally switched to AMD on my main desktop. Holy crap does it just work. I went straight for hyprland over my previous XFCE based desktop.
I enjoy tinkering so having some programs that just work and some that need a little push is great for me. Gaming is pretty easy these days - games that straight up don’t run I just don’t buy, and protonDB or even the proton issue tracker and wineDB for tips and tricks.
However with DEs I tend to set one up, and keep it how I set it up. I had XFCE for a total of 3 years with no changes. Hopefully I can do the same with Hyprland. I usually only try a new one when reinstalling Linux.
In a same but more drastic vein, you’d have to chop me up and shit In my corpse before I switch back to windows on my home PCs, it’s bad enough I have to use win10 at work imo (I ain’t installing win11 there untill I’m forced to)
It’s basically all the gaudy stereotypical isekai anime tropes, shamelessly taken so extreme that it turns into a parody of the genre itself. While also actually somehow having a completely compelling story. All the while the main character is somehow completely oblivious to it all.
Also I wouldn’t say the main character shadow/cid is horny. He actively seems to have no interest in taking advantage of the harem, not that he has any realisation that it even exists and he hates the idea that he’s about to enter into a romcom. The only thing he cares about is his wish fulfillment.
I recommend you watch gigguk’s review of both the seasons. It explains why it’s so good better than I can.
While I’m not sure if you can do NVMe over the SD type C (unless it’s similar to thunderbolt or the super high tier latest USB spec I doubt it)
You should already be able to get genshin running on the SD - either patched via an anime game launcher, or from what I hear areweanticheatyet.com already seems to has good news about unmatched genshin.
As for game pass, idk I don’t use it myself because I don’t run windows on any of my systems and I’d rather not give Microsoft too much money, but just a warning - the SD was not built for windows. You might find the windows drivers, while probably stable at this point might be a bit finnicy and feel like an afterthought - because generally it probably is an afterthought. I wouldn’t expect good battery life with windows, and I would also expect potentially worse performance for games that work on both operating systems.
The steam deck is one of the few platforms where the best expirience is Linux, because that’s what it was tailored to.
That said, it’s up to you, if you want to do that, go ahead, no one’s stopping you it’s your device after all.
We should probably change it to “American style capitalism” as the behaviour seems to have either originated or mainlined in America first. But it’s seen in most global and domestic software companies around the globe today.
