I play exclusively female characters, and also go for the F/F romance when possible. I think it started with fighting games, because female characters were usually faster, and some shooters actually have smaller hitboxes for female models, so there are are actual advantages. But yeah, I’m mostly with you, to the point where my GF laughs at my characters always looking like me with boobs. We’re playing through Elden Ring together now, and I’m playing a (F) dex spellblade and she is making a (M) tank with a bonking stick.

Thanks for commenting, I didn’t expect to find someone on “the other side” of the argument! Just to be clear, can you explain what all these models and calculations accomplish that can’t be done with temperature sensors in a few of the apartments, for example? That’s the solution that the more advanced systems I’ve implemented use, and it at least sounds significantly simpler. And no need for a subscription.

I’m in Finland, but most of the entertainment I consume is from the UK/US. Aoife just sounds quite different from all the other names I keep hearing so I assumed it’s rare, but I’m glad to be wrong because the name is still cool.

There’s a content creator called Aoife on the Eurogamer YouTube channel. I think the name is Irish/Gaelic, or something like that.
