My first and only dm was a huge dick

The start of the campaign village is being attacked, I picked a swordsman cus swing sword is easy probably good for a beginner

Anyways I roll a 20, DM hypes it up saying I have impeccable footwork, draw the blade from its sheath perfect, doing this epic buildup for about a minute or 2. Then he flatly says I miss my perfect swing because every enemy was 200 feet away

That was in middle school and now my GF is trying so hard to get me into Baldurs Gate and now it’s just a matter of me doing some DnD homework about classes and other stuff so I’m not going in 100% blind

You could even say his spelling is quite atrocious

I love this game because it feels like the game is actually playing by rules

Yeah you can cripple someone by shooting their legs, reduce accuracy by shooting arms, or go for a good ol headshot. You can really feel like a tactical badass. Oh by the way same goes for you

It just makes me really happy seeing that

Ofc in practice I am horrible so that sometimes undoes all my excitement

I’m not dyslexic and if you didn’t tell me that font was for treating I would have just thought it’s a cute stylized font

Also my memory could be off but isn’t the unimpressed face on the top with the excited one on the bottom

What seems second nature to us may be so confusing to someone else

I consider my self a very nice and patient person but one time I was playing a game with a buddy (and kinda was having a bad day) and he asked me a basic question about the game that to me after hundreds of hours of playing is “so obvious” I kinda snapped at him for not knowing. I apologized once I realized what I said

Anyways pointless story aside is we all make mistakes we just gotta correct them and learn :)

It looked fun when j watched the trailer with stuff like bullet jumping so now I gotta check it out
