Windows users: fwiw, i didn’t want to go deal with Python and Chromium in Windows, so I tried to do this in WSL (v1) and gave up. Probably easily done in WSL v2, or with just using the Windows versions of everything.

Sure, that’s just what we want, is for them to get a massive influx of “developers” to inflate their value with for the IPO.
I love iOS’s look (when it’s on an intended device, not on my giant ass monitor, like here :D ) but man is it’s organization a mess. Everything Apple produces is seriously unintuitive. If you give me an iPad, i’m going to be lost searching for basic functionality. If you give me a Mac, I can’t even operate the damn thing.
things like this are why these days we build apps to be very independent from the APIs that serve them, makes it a lot easier when major API upgrades or service provider changes occur.
I’d definitely like to get ahold of their iOS stylesheet or whatever tech they are using to make that look so iOS, but the layout of the app is terrible.
When there’s an instance that doesn’t want to play well with others, it’s up to others to take action.
Generally, I agree, but sometimes it’s going to happen. See also the great IRC split, and countless other networks prior that mostly no longer exist.
i think my favorite feature is that errors while posting no longer silently fail. however, since they do show in a small popup box with a short timer, if i’m not paying attention, i’ll still miss them, and it’ll look like it failed silently.
sure, just wanted to let anyone who might want to try to do the same thing i tried know, that it’s probably not worth trying to do with WSL1 in Windows, wasn’t like slamming it or making a feature request or anything, sorry if that wasn’t clear :D
