Hi

  • Been enjoying playing Vampire Survivors on my SteamDeck, it's surprisingly fun for its simplicity and barely uses any battery.

Also just started Nova Lands because I heard it was a good gateway game to other automation games. It's pretty chill. Unsure how fun mid to late game progression is but I'm enjoying it so far.

  • The eyes :o

  • What animal is that??? It's so cool!

  • Yep! I installed Spotify and Plexamp in desktop mode and added them as a Non-Steam apps. Then in gaming mode I just open the game and my audio player of choice simultaneously!

  • That's the one!!!

  • Nah but it did remind me of a poem my Nana used to read me as a kid

  • Enjoying Powerwash Simulator on my SteamDeck this week, it's the perfect game to chill and listen to podcasts as you play.

Also been enjoying Skate 3 on the PS3, I'm pretty close to completing the game so have been working on the last few challenges.

  • I love this grumpy void :o

  • aww @lemmy.world

    He loves his owl

  • Give me the void :o

  • If franchises count then the Skate trilogy because I ended up hyperfixating on it. The controls are perfect and the vibes (especially in the first 2 games) are immaculate and really being me back to the early 2000s. They're the main reason I have a PS3 that I use regularly tbh.

If not then Minecraft Java Edition because it's so easy to play with friends and there's tons of mods and ways to play the game.

Edit: not sure if I misunderstood the title, if it was asking about 2025 releases then disregard this lol

  • Can't believe I've never heard of Backloggd before, it seems cool!

  • I use How Long To Beat to track my games and backlog across a bunch of platforms.

They have a website and a mobile app.

Edit: I thought they had a mobile app but I cannot for the life of me find it anymore!

  • Also been trying to set up Minecraft with the Legacy4J pack and Midnight Controls to relive my nostalgia for Legacy Minecraft.

  • Basic answer but I've gotten back into Powerwash Simulator recently. Perfect game to play on the Deck whilst listening to podcasts at the end of the day.

  • Legacy Minecraft has such a charm to it that modern versions fail to capture imo

    1. Minecraft - Was my absolute childhood and I met so many good friends and learnt a lot throughout my time playing the game.
    2. Skate 2 - The controls are perfect, the vibe is amazing, it's just one of my overall favourites.
    3. GTA V - The first R rated game I played. Both this game and Fallout 3 were massive inspirations for me focusing on 3D environments as a Game Dev student.

Honourable mention to Little Big Planet and Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe; both of which absolutely shaped my childhood
