I hope I’ve bought my last gasoline car.

Over the past 30 years, technology has taken extensive leaps forward. Except for printers and printer drivers. Still stuck in 1990.

Small government is allegedly still at part of the Republican platform at the state level. For a small government party, they sure do like to dictate what’s going on in people’s bedrooms.
The party of small government.
Dude is the worst ever. Let him rot in prison.
Abolish capital punishment.
What’s reddit?
I don’t mind supporting the developer. He can’t rely on tens of thousands of user to buy the app for $1 each on lemmy like he could on reddit. It’s going to be more expensive per user here.
Absolutely. Lemmy had a very different feel than reddit up until Sync was released. Now I can barely tell the difference.
Wow. That does not look good.
Can we have some term limits, please?
And we’re way overdue for another patch or two.
I personally think Jerboa is a the smoothest experience so far. But I’m planning to jump to Sync when it becomes available.
I’d also expect another big jump when clients like Sync and Boost get their apps for Lemmy online. That will attract an enormous amount of users from reddit.
Started out bumpy and the servers couldn’t handle all the new traffic. Vast improvements over the last few days. So much so that I went ahead and deleted my reddit account today. Not looking back.
Jerboa is pretty good. Probably the smoothest I’ve tried. Liftoff is pretty good as well.
I’m waiting for Sync to come out for Lemmy and I’ll jump back on that.
Looks like the motherland of fascism is moving back in time…
Not surprised with the new government.
I always vote for Democrats up and down the ballot. But this just confirms my choice once again. Hopefully the 26 million people the Republicans screwed over will come to the same conclusion.
While you’re off, if you like classic literature, I can recommend Henry David Thoreau’s “Walden” to get more in touch with yourself, nature, and the world around you.
