Now it seems to be done via invite only forums and special rules and quotas.
This isn't really true. Maybe you have that impression because piracy communities tend to be filled with snobs who constantly humble brag about all their private trackers and paid services. You can still find good quality versions of almost everything through public trackers.
I loved all the stuff with Jesus in this episode. The blame game from the parents and the complete apathy from everyone else in the education system. That moment in the staff meeting where Jesus realised no one else gives a shit anymore about how fucked the kids are was very funny.
It's just a combination of lazy writing and time constraints, we've seen it throughout the series. The biologists never have any concept of safety. Really the only film in which the idiocy made sense was Alien 3, since most of the cast were degenerate inmates.
That's a normal assumption to have, I'm not really sure what these people are complaining about. You did nothing wrong. If people are so worried about spoilers, maybe they should take some responsibility for once and avoid discussion instead of expecting everyone else to tiptoe around them. I waited until I'd watched the episode before opening the thread, it's not hard.
By breaking up seasons into various parts, streamers are losing their edge over traditional programmers and networks. In the break between the season’s parts, audiences flee elsewhere to platforms where they can either binge TV shows entirely, or watch them on the traditional week-to-week basis.
It doesn't matter if they go elsewhere, they've already paid for a month. And for many, that month will expire before the next block of episodes is released so they'll need to pay for a second month to finish the series. Easy money for Netflix and people seem willing to pay it.
The drop off wasn't as bad as I remembered when I went back and watched it (I actually thought some of the later seasons were the funniest) but the departures of key cast members definitely derailed the superhero storyline they were building up.
"Plaguing" was not really the right word for the editor to go with in the title, considering the article is not actually critical of AI becoming an increasingly common theme in our stories. The writer is clearly quite fascinated by where this is heading.
If you're in the EU there is now at least one alternative app store. iOS hasn't opened up anywhere else in the world AFAIK, so it's still a pain for everyone else. You used to be able to use the AltStore without jailbreaking iOS (maybe you still can), but the process was annoying and didn't feel particularly secure as you had to provide your Apple account details.
I don't think people are doing it because the new phones have better specs. It's more a social status flex or because tech consumerism (buying new toys) is a default hobby now for many.
