My question is not a logical one, but an emotional/moral one, like what I am asking now about us…

Yeah a lot of bad faith arguing against me. They think it is okay to bash on reasonable beliefs/actions as long as they are committed by someone who has other, more extreme, beliefs. But it’s not okay, attack the bad views, not the good ones. This lemmy instance is definitely filled with a lot of these weird types.
we may have to with people that get so upset over silly stuff like this lmao, do y’all actually see yourselves?
It’s wild that y’all get triggered by content warnings tbh. Not gonna say anything about the cw posted, but you never know what may be an actual trigger for someone and it doesn’t really hurt to post content with one to be considerate. Maybe this poster knows someone who experiences a severe revulsion to images of processed meat products and they take care to be sensitive to that.
I totally would
Flattered to be called young but I am definitely entering my own lazy era :)
I had the same thing happen to me on my manual. Kinda cemented my love/fascination with manuals. Too bad my partner wanted an automatic :( … next time~
I’m a zillenial that had a manual that blew its clutch while I was out and I had to relearn how to drive it back home, that was scaryfun. Where does that put me?
I mean that is usually all it takes, and as time passes you learn, provided you have the will to do exactly what you are doing and you have an interest in understanding it.
EndeavourOS, Simply Arch with an installer, has KDE as an option for DE.
I use it, I love it. Arch is great. E-OS just cuts out the first few hours/days of set up.
Steam said my partner was ineligible, so no, steam gets final choice. 😢
It’s like the meme, is there someone you forgot to ask?
Because you keep trying till you run out of cake, if we are eating pie we are way past cake so we shouldn’t be trying anymore.

They already played past the refund period. Depending how complicated the game is they might have needed that time to really formulate a comprehensive opinion. And now that they have already played the game, they might as well play it. Goodness knows I have guilty pleasure games that are honestly not that fun but they scratch some sort of itch even if they may be overall disappointing with some clear avenue for improvement I wish they had made.
Not to mention, the vast majority of Americans can’t even dream of having enough money to afford the move to begin with. The American dream is reasonable rent and affordable debt repayments now.
how about this, we get 80% of the country, the disenfranchised non-voters and vote for an actually decent third party and destroy them both
:) Yep you can! There’s “An Anime Game launcher” for linux
For gaming - https://github.com/sonic2kk/steamtinkerlaunch1 It bundles a few useful things as well like another suggestion: https://github.com/FeralInteractive/gamemode as well as quite a few others, tinker is especially useful if you want to mod too, making mod organizer 2 very easy to use, taking a lot out of the otherwise manual set up
Also in general, look for custom launchers, Genshin has a custom launcher, runescape as well, I believe gog does too. If you can’t use foss at least use a better launcher.
for media honestly you can’t beat VLC, but I run a plex server I typically use, for music I use strawberry, and for asmr desktop noise Blanket is a super cool package, and I like Cozy for audio-books.
Edit: Oh and for gaming I saw another comment recommending retroarch and I totally agree, retroarch works amazing on linux, so much better performance than I ever had emulating on windows before I switched.
I’ll cry with you trashboat, we’re on the same… trashy boat, as it were.
Funny thing about that one…
