It’s splitscreen, so there’s no down time. Both players can do everything simultaneously, they are not bound to the same environment. I surely recommend it. It will most likely be the only way I play it.

In Original Sin games there was a hybrid of split and shared screen, so you could change it on the fly. I hope they add it in this game too.

What is the classic view for? It looks the same as tree view, but with aforementioned lack of clarity.

I have hard time seeing how emulation could become difficult or rare, they can’t get rid of what is already there. On the contrary, I feel it will continue to become more easy and widespread. It also kinda is illegal already, atleast the way most are using it.
